'''Sylhet Engineering College''', abbreviated as SEC is an institution in Bangladesh for Engineering education. Sylhet Engineering College is affiliated with Shahjalal University of Science & Technology. The Sylhet Engineering College campus is located at Shadipur, Sylhet sadar. The college campus accommodates three large academic buildings, one library and computer centre building , one admin building, one principal quarters, etc. There is one female student’s hostel and two male student’s hostels too.

1. Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
2. Department of Computer Science and Engineering.
3. Department of Civil Engineering.

Each departments offers 4 years B.Sc in Engineering degree.

There is a central Computer Centre from where the whole computer and network system of SEC is managed and controlled. All the Computers in the campus are connected through 1 Gbit/s LAN connection with each other. There are in total 126 HP brand High Performance workstation computers equipped with most modern Intel Core 2 Duo processors and 8 powerful HP servers equipped with latest dual core Intel Xeon server processors.
