Johann Valentin Adamberger (22 February 1740 – August 1804) was a German tenor closely associated with the works of Mozart.

Born in Rohr near Rottenburg, Lower Bavaria, he studied singing with Giovanni Valesi and began his career in Venice. He was engaged by the German Company in Vienna and sang Belmonte in Mozart's Die Entführung aus dem Serail and Herr Vogelsang in his Der Schauspieldirektor. In June 1783 Mozart also wrote for him the aria "Per pieta, non ricercate", K.420, "A te, fra tanti affanni", in K.469, and "Misere! o sogno", K.431 (425b). A member of the masonic lodge Zur gekrönten Hoffnung ('Crowned Hope'), he sang in Mozart's Die Maurerfreude K.471.

In 1780 he married Maria Anna Jaquet (1752-1804) of the Burgtheater in Vienna, who sang the role of Madame Krone in Der Schauspieldirektor (1786). Their daughter Antonie (1790-1867) was also a singer. He died in Vienna.
