I joined in 2009 because I'd long been a lurker and wanted to get involved. My interests include the Chinese language and culture, history (particularly the [[antebellum period|antebellum]] US) and the sociological aspects of religion. It changes depending on my mood, and there's no real ETA on any of the items listed. New projects, usually about old things, always interest me.
