Prior to creating my own Wikipedia article, I questioned the notability of Wikipedia. As many of my other classmates have stated, all throughout high school and middle school, I was told that Wikipedia "Is not a reliable source." After my experience on Wikipedia however, I feel differently. While creating my article on [[Walton_Rehabilitation_Hospital]], I was constantly harassed about the notability of my topic. I also had to find ''several'' '''credible''' resources to support any information that I included in my article. After several weeks of editing and fighting for my article, it was finally removed from being tagged for deletion. I now consider many Wiki articles to be notable because if they weren't, I'm sure they would either be up for deletion or would have been deleted. |

Not only is Walton the only facility of this kind in the CSRA, but it is also the official regional site for Bioness Therapy Technology. Bioness technology can help improve gait and help patients regain fine motor skills. Walton utilizes two types of Bioness technology in its facility. The first is the Ness H200 Hand Rehabilitation System. This therapy system uses mild electrical stimulation to improve arm function. And it not only induces the success of your therapy, but also reduces complications. Following stroke and brain injury, it has been shown to help with the return of hand function. The Ness H200 rests over the patient's hand and forearm. It is made of a soft polymer fitting that is embedded with electrodes and stimulates muscles in the hand and wrist, on command. In addition, a series of exercises can be customized for each patient.<ref>BIBLIOGRAPHIC CITATION: "Ness H200 Hand Rehabilitation System." (2010): n. pag. It is the first FES wireless system and is used to stimulate the leg muscles to lift the foot. The system consists of a gait sensor, a wireless leg cuff, and a clinician-programmed control unit. Overall, the system helps improve gait at various speeds and in multiple terrains. |

How 'Bout That "Wiki"?!
[edit]Prior to creating my own Wikipedia article, I questioned the notability of Wikipedia. As many of my other classmates have stated, all throughout high school and middle school, I was told that Wikipedia "Is not a reliable source." After my experience on Wikipedia however, I feel differently. While creating my article on Walton_Rehabilitation_Hospital, I was constantly harassed about the notability of my topic.
