As of August 2005 I've been editing Wikipedia for about two years, at first mostly as an anonymous user (even after I registered an account in order to upload my first picture). I work on all subjects, but I have particular knowledge in the areas of traditional ale and sailing. I also have an interest in computing, but given the demographic bias of Wikipedia everything there tends to be already covered. |

Since I sometimes struggle to work out from people's user-pages which country they are from (it often has a bearing on terminology in articles, in particular), I'll point out here that I am British and have lived all my life in the south of England. |
