As of August 2005 I've been editing Wikipedia for about two years, at first mostly as an anonymous user (even after I registered an account in order to upload my first picture). I work on all subjects, but I have particular knowledge in the areas of traditional ale and sailing. I also have an interest in computing, but given the demographic bias of Wikipedia everything there tends to be already covered.

Since I sometimes struggle to work out from people's user-pages which country they are from (it often has a bearing on terminology in articles, in particular), I'll point out here that I am British and have lived all my life in the south of England.

Me

As of August 2005 I've been editing Wikipedia for about two years, at first mostly as an anonymous user (even after I registered an account in order to upload my first picture). I work on all subjects, but I have particular knowledge in the areas of traditional ale and sailing. I also have an interest in computing, but given the demographic bias of Wikipedia everything there tends to be already covered.

Since I sometimes struggle to work out from people's user-pages which country they are from (it often has a bearing on terminology in articles, in particular), I'll point out here that I am British and have lived all my life in the south of England.
