Hi, I saw your contribution to tyhe Tri Yann page. As I said three years ago (!), that article is not appropriate for the discussion of the history of Breton folk revival and folk rock, which should be in the article Music of Brittany. It's a complex subject to be sure, but the folk revival dates back to before the war - indeed as far back as Barzaz Breiz. Of course Gallo is not quite the same as 'Francophone'. Most Tri Yann stuff is in more or less standard French, not Gallo. Stivell and Servat both have their own articles. There is much more that could be added to the main article about the history of Breton music - both popular and classical (see list of Breton composers - in the main article. Please feel free to contribute to it. Paul B (talk) 14:37, 24 August 2011 (UTC) |

There is much more that could be added to the main article about the history of Breton music - both popular and classical (see list of Breton composers) - in the main article. Please feel free to contribute to it. Paul B (talk) 14:37, 24 August 2011 (UTC)
