Students in grade five at Daniel Wright follow an [[elementary school]] schedule with students attending class with one teacher for the majority of the day, then going to "Creative Arts" with specialty teachers. Key activities during the fifth grade include things that are team building activities at Camp Henry Horner, Colonial Days, and Fraction Cafe. In sixth grade, students work through a modified [[middle school]] schedule and see different teachers for their core subjects. Students in the 6th grade attend Outdoor Education, a three day experience to build morale and extend the education of students beyond the classroom. During eighth grade at Daniel Wright, students work at [[Springfield, IL]]. |
