'''Pioneer Middle School''' is a school in [[Tustin, California]], and is part of the [[Tustin Unified School District]]. It is named after the street it is on, Pioneer Rd. Currently, it is the newest middle school in the district, with the newest high school being [[Arnold O. Beckman High School]], and newest overall school being Orchard Hills School. It currently enrolls students in sixth through eighth grade. Pioneer Middle School is a 2008 [[Blue Ribbon School of Excellence]], a two time winner of the [[California Distinguished School]] award, in 2003, and in 2007, and a multiple award winner for its yearbook. Students from Pioneer Middle School then move on to the award winning state-of-the-art campus of [[Arnold O. Beckman High School]].

Pioneer Middle School's official school motto and mission is "Maximizing Every Student's Academic Potential and Personal Responsibility."

==Tutorial Program==
Pioneer Middle School's academic strategy is a plan to ensure that all students get the help they need early on to succeed. Pioneer has participated in the Science Olympiad Competition for the past 5 years. In the past 3 years, however, Pioneer's Olympiad Program has steadily improved, going from a ranking of 3rd in regional competitions to 1st.
