Iron Horse's video production class has a TV show called 'Mornings at Iron Horse' which is broadcast throughout the school on Mondays and Fridays. Michelle Cooper has been the Principal of Iron Horse since the 2007-2008 school year after the retirement of Kirby Hoy. However, starting in 2012, Joe Nguyen became Principal. |

Iron Horse has a two story classroom building (20 classrooms), a library with a media center, a learning center, cafeteria (MPR), instrumental and choir music rooms next to the MPR, an outdoor-based environmental science classroom, and fifteen portables in the back of the school. (Although there is an instrumental music program at IHMS, there is no choir program.) The gymnasium is shared with the community center.
