-Holbrook Coastguard is a unique coastguard unit, it is entirely run by students and is the only one to do so in England, there is one in Wales and another in Scotland.
-Based at the [[Royal Hospital School]], on the Shotley Peninsular near Ipswich.
-The Coastguard team was founded by [[Peter Creasey]] in 1996.
-There are adult team members who take charge during the school holidays.
-The student team has members up to 18 years old and some members as young as 14.
