Holbrook Coastguard is a unique coastguard unit, it is entirely run by students and is the only one to do so in England, there is one in Wales and another in Scotland.
Based at the [[Royal Hospital School]], on the Shotley Peninsular near Ipswich.
The Coastguard team was founded by [[Peter Creasey]] in 1996.
There are adult team members who take charge during the school holidays.
The student team has members up to 18 years old and some members as young as 14.
Holbrook Coastguard has a fully operational watch station and CRV.
The Student members currently consist of:-
