'''Mark Walk''' is an [[United States|American]] composer, producer, [[multi-instrumentalist]] and current member of the bands [[Skinny Puppy]] and [[ohGr]]. Working in the [[Electronic music|electronic]] and [[industrial music]] genres, Walk became a writer, producer, and studio engineer at a recording studio he built called Pachyderm along with Jim Nickel and Eric Anderson, located in [[Minnesota]]. During this time he also did work for [[Invisible Records]] in [[Chicago]].

== Early career ==
Walk began his musical career in a local band featuring [[John Reeves (musician)|John Reeves]], [[Terry Morehouse]], [[Bruce Bushman]] and [[Kevin Brandt]]. At age 15 he also played lead guitar for the band Starwood, which featured the [[Szamanda]] Brothers (Mark and Paul), keyboardist [[Jerry Barker]], and drummer [[Mike Fittante]].

== 1990's to present ==
Branching out from his work with Invisible and Pachyderm, he spent time in [[Malibu, California|Malibu]] working with [[Skinny Puppy]] on their album ''[[The Process (Skinny Puppy album)|The Process]]''. Afterwards he moved to [[Seattle]] where his work included writing and producing material with [[Nivek Ogre]] for ohGr, and producing & writing albums with [[Lesley Rankine]] in a band called [[Ruby (band)|Ruby]]. Also while in Seattle he worked with [[Tim Skold]], [[Bill Rieflin]], and the bands [[The Petty Tyrants]] and [[KMFDM]], including additional studio work from [[Scott Crane]] and [[Loki der Quaeler]].
