Oldpanther Retired community organizer and lecturer. He also has a long history as a professional musician starting with playing in Wilson Pickett's band in the sixties. Oldpanther was a civil rights worker with SNCC from 1963 until 1967 when he joined the Black Panther Party. Thus the name Old Panther.
