Hey, hope you're doing well. I invite you to participate in a Christian music debate that I've started. I did it to keep the whole thing in one place, because it's starting to span across several band articles. How can you be emo and be a christian at the same time?ThroughTheDarkness (talk) 21:46, 7 October 2008 (UTC) |

:What's so strange about that? Do you people really beleave that every emo cuts themselves, or is anti-religion? That's like saying that all goths worship satan, or that all jocks are idiots, wrong and not true. I mean, so emos and goths do that stuff, but not all of them. People just assoicate them with that stuff, don't know why, but they do. And no i'm not "scene" or whatever it's called, they are emo-posers. No, emo doesn't mean "cut yourself" or "anti-religion" it's just short for emotional, that's all. So yeah, hope that helped answer your question:) Emo777 (talk) 23:27, 8 October 2008 (UTC) |

:Emo really isn't short for "Emotional" it was originally meant for a music genre. Emo has nothing to do with emotion really, as the music is more based on musical composition than lyrics. Not that you can change your name now, but it would help if you had a more fact based view on "Emo" if you are to call yourself an "Emo"(which is just a fan of the REAL music genre).--Samushi101 (talk) 07:21, 1 November 2008 (UTC) |

::I know it's a type of music, but I also read online that the term was short for "emotional" as well. Emo777 (talk) 06:31, 3 November 2008 (UTC) |

Not to try and start a flame war or anything, but it would be interesting to hear why you oppose these ideas. Chances are, it's ttoally faith based, though. Reply on my talk page if you want to actually debate it. |

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
