Ouch. I'm very sad to see that you decided to retire... Times ago, I was on the point to do the same, after a certain dispute we had (btw, that was 99.99% my fault, for I meant to provide you with an example of personal attack, to convince you that I was not attacking you previously! I recall that now just because since then I wished to tell you that I did not really think all the bad things I wrote about you). In that occasion, I found very civil and gallant from your side, that you even tried to convince me to reconsider the idea. I learnt that wikipedia is a great democratic project, not only from the cultural side, but also, from the side of personal relationships, so to speak: and it clearly shows that the two aspects are strictly linked. No hope to spread wider the knowledge, if men can't communicate peacefully together, and no hope for peace between men, if they can't access to a wider knowledge. I don't know exactly why you are so upset now, but consider that these difficulties are inherent to men, and this is a main part of the problem we wish to treat here. I hope you will show them that one can try to do it. If they will not understand, nevertheless others will profit from your example, as I did. So, put down that gun. Sincerely, I hope you will be back one day. --[[User:PMajer|pm]][[User talk:PMajer|a]] 10:57, 1 February 2010 (UTC) |

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
