Performed Antisubmarine patrols over New Jersey and New York coastal waters, Dec 1941–Jan 1942. Inaugurated AAF operations in ETO with a mission from England to Holland on 4 July 1942. Combat in ETO and MTO, 4 Jul 1942–c. Jan 1943.
