'''Biscayne Boulevard''' is major [[thoroughfare]] and off-grid road in [[Miami]] and [[Miami-Dade County, Florida|Miami-Dade County]], [[Florida]], [[United States]]. A part of [[U.S. Route 1 (Florida)|U.S. Route 1]], the road begins just north of the mouth of the [[Miami River (Florida)|Miami River]], starting at Southeast Fourth Street in [[Downtown Miami]], continuing north to the [[Broward County, Florida|Broward County]] [[county line|line]].

==Route==
It is an off-[[grid plan]] main north–south thoroughfare that intersects both streets and avenues. Biscayne Boulevard begins at Southeast Fourth Street, at the [[Brickell Avenue Bridge]], going north through the central business district of Downtown. South of the bridge, US Route 1 is known as [[Brickell Avenue]] and [[Dixie Highway|South Dixie Highway]].

It continues north, taking the place of Northeast Third Avenue until crossing Northeast 36th Street ([[U.S. Route 27 in Florida|US 27]], where it curves northeast in the [[Wynwood]], paralleling North Federal Highway until Northeast 61st Street, where it continues north.

Moving further inland, the Boulevard replaces Northeast Sixth Avenue at 61st Street. It enters [[suburb]]an [[Miami Shores, Florida|Miami Shores]] at Northeast 87th Street and enters the village of [[Miami Shores, Florida|Miami Shores]]. Crossing the Biscayne Canal, Miami Shores becomes [[North Miami, Florida|North Miami]].

The road passes enters [[Aventura, Florida|Aventura]] at [[Greynolds Park]]. It continues north-northeast through the city of Aventura, curving due north at Northeast 187th Street and northeast at Northeast 203rd Street. It continues northeast a short distance until it crosses [[Florida State Road 852|County Line Road]] into [[Broward County, Florida|Broward County]] at [[Hallandale Beach, Florida|Hallandale Beach]] and becoming South Federal Highway.

Biscayne Boulevard is home to the majority of consulates-general based in Miami, including that of [[Consulate General of France in Miami|France]].
