Derrick O'Keefe is a Canadian writer and social justice activist. He is the former editor of rabble.ca, Canada's most widely-read progressive website, and his writings on foreign policy, Canadian politics, ecology and other topics have been published in a number of both alternative and mainstream publications. O'Keefe is the co-writer of the autobiography of Afghan women's rights activist and politician Malalai Joya -- A Woman Among Warlords (Scribner 2009).

O'Keefe was a founding editor and publisher of the on-line zine Seven Oaks, 2004-2008, a now discontinued "journal of "politics, culture and resistance" that featured the writing of a group of young, progressive journalists and activists.

O'Keefe is the co-chair of Stopwar.ca in Vancouver, British Columbia and the Canadian Peace Alliance, the largest network of anti-war groups in Canada.
