[[Buxton]] Festival Fringe is in its 27th year and in 2006 hosted 117 events over 17 days. This makes it one of the largest fully indedpendant Fringe's in the UK - along with Brighton and [[Edinburgh Fringe]]. |

The Fringe runs every year for just over two weeks in July. |

The Fringe hosts comedy, theatre, dance, music, street performances, puppetry, film, performance art, talks and shows for children as well as other improntu events. |

Buxton Fringe is an open arts festival and all are welcome to perform. The current cost of entry is £70. |
