Drake and Josh are arguing about borrowing Walter's car, so they approach him about buying their own car. Together they have about twelve-hundred dollars, and Walter agrees to pay the same amount, if they agree to help with chores. They visit the car lot, but can't agree on a car, as Josh wants a sensible car and Drake wants a cool car. |
Later, Drake takes the money and sneaks off to the car lot on his own, but instead of buying a car, he buys an orangutan named Bobo from the car salesman. Josh is furious when he finds out, especially because he took the $100 out of his "special box", but when he sees how much money Drake could make using Bobo as public performer he's OK with the idea. A man approaches Drake and Josh and offers to buy Bobo for ten-thousand dollars, and they happily accept the offer. |
Megan is upset that they sold Bobo, and finds out that the man they sold him to is an evil doctor who likes to eat primates. Drake and Josh break into his apartment, but the doctor traps them in a closet and takes Josh's cell phone. Eventually, Megan arrives at the apartment with police officers. They arrest the doctor before he has a chance to cook Bobo. Megan finds Drake and Josh, but only agrees to let them out of the closet if they let her pick out the car they're going to buy. She chooses a yellow Volkswagen Beetle decorated with flowers. When they find 3 teenagers, they laugh at Drake and Josh about their car. |

==Trivia/Goofs== |
*The magic place Josh refers to is a parody of a real place named the Magic Castle in Las Vegas. The place where Magicians come to and perform shows. |
*The $10,000 check that Drake and Josh received from selling Bobo (to Doctor Adiran Favisham) could have easily been retrieved. After Doc. Favisham was arrested, he left the check on the counter, next to Bobo's cage. Drake and Josh easily could of taken it with them and bought another car for themself (other than Megan's Volkswagen Beetle). Instead they just exit without the money. |
*This is the fourth episode (not counting the movie) to feature a criminal. The first was Theater Thug, the second was The Wedding (two colleagues rob Drake and Josh), and the third was The Gary Grill. Crooks always get away. |
*Josh also mentioned a rat named Bobo in the opening scene in "The Foam Finger". |
*This was the sixth episode to air in the UK, after a long hiatus. |
*This is the second time an Animal has been brought into Drake & Josh's house, the first time was in Sheep Thrills. |
*Drake and Josh's family own many cars. In Driver's License Josh drives a fourth generation Ford Taurus. In Sheep Thrills, Josh slams the hood of a fourth generation Ford Mustang on his dad's head so his dad can't see the sheep in the garage. In "Drake and Josh go Hollywood", Drake drives a Chevrolet Camaro SS to the airport. In "Josh Runs into Oprah", Josh drives a Ford Five Hundred. In "The Wedding", Drake drives a Chevrolet El Camino, but it was borrowed. . In this episode, Drake drives a fifth generation Mustang instead of a fourth-generation Mustang. At the end of this episode, Josh drives a Volkswagen Beetle convertible. Drake proclaims he saw a 1960's Ford Mustang at the used car dealership, but the family already owns two Mustangs. Most of the cars they mention or drive are from the Ford Motor Company. |
*When we first see Walter reading Fancy Cat magazine, there is a page that we can see the reverse side of. The page has multicolored items on it. Later when Walter is on the couch, you can see the multicolored items in the same spot on the same page. This reveals that he has not turned the page in the day or so that Drake and Josh were looking at cars. |
*It is implied that Craig and/or Eric know how to drive. |
*Megan's computer have a pear logo on the back, is a reference/parody of apple computers (the original logo is an apple), this is another electronic product in the series (counting the movie), the products parodied were nintendo DS, Sony's PSP, Nintendo's Game boy advance sp, the Ipod and the Nintendo Gamecube. |
