The make up an area of the Pokémon world, introduced in the Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen video games. The name would imply that there are seven islands in the Sevii Islands, but in fact there are nine islands in total, two of which (Navel Rock and Birth Island) are only accessible through special promotions, or by using a cheating device like Gameshark or Action Replay. Like the Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn regions, the Sevii Islands are based on a real life location, this time the Bonin Islands, south off the coast of Tokyo.

It is said that the islands were formed in seven days; this is the source of the name. An alternative form is 7 (SEV) plus 1 (I) and 1 (I) (the 1s being Navel Rock and Birth Island), thus forming SEVII. As well, it could be a portmanteau of Seven and VII (Roman numerals for seven). According to an old lady on Seven Island, however, these islands were named such because it was made in seven days.

On these islands, one can catch wild Johto Pokémon and four legendary Pokémon, all of which are not available in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.

Islands 1-3
These islands are accessible after the player defeats the seventh gym leader, Blaine. At that time, Bill will give the player a Tri-Pass at Cinnabar Island. No Johto Pokémon can be obtained from Islands 1-3 until the player has defeated the Elite Four.

One Island (Knot Island)
One Island (Knot Island) is the biggest island. At the island's Pokémon Center, there is a machine that enables the player to trade with Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Colosseum, and XD once two key items: the Ruby item and the Sapphire item, are obtained and brought back to the Center. Wild Slugma and Magcargo can be found on the island, and it is also the new home of the legendary Pokémon, Moltres, found at the top of Mt. Ember. Near Mt. Ember you encounter Team Rocket. It is the home of Celio (not to be confused with the Pokémon Sealeo), a Pokémaniac and friend of Bill, inventor of the PC storage system. After beating the Elite Four and the player's rival, the player can get the Ruby, which starts the chain of events which ultimately allows the player to trade with every other game in the Advance Generation.

Events
*North of the island are some hot springs which heals your pokemon and and a man who will give you HM06.
*Far north on Mount Ember is a Lv.50 Moltres. You can only get it when you have rid the island of the bike gangsters.
hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii. this stuff is fake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two Island (Boon Island)
Two Island (Boon Island) does not have much. It has a Move Maniac to reteach old moves to the player’s Pokémon, and a Game Corner where the player can play two mini-games via the Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter. There is also an old lady that lives at Cape Brink, at the Northern part of the island who, assuming the player's fully-evolved starter Pokémon's friendship rating is high enough, will teach that Pokémon an extremely powerful move: Frenzy Plant for Venusaur, Blast Burn for Charizard, and Hydro Cannon for Blastoise. Each move has 5 PP, 90% accuracy, an attack power of 150, and renders the user immobile on the turn after it is used (the equivalent of Hyper Beam for the Grass, Fire, and Water types).

There is also a stand on Two Island that will sell unique items such as Lava Cookies and Moo Moo Milk that did not exist in Kanto originally, and were introduced in Hoenn and Johto, respectively.

Events
*High up on two island is a move tutor who is willing to teach your starter pokemon a new move.
*In one of the houses there is an opportunity to play two mini-games via the wireless link.

Three Island (Kin Island)
Three Island (Kin Island) has a biker gang called the Kanto Rider Federation that the player needs to defeat. After defeating them, the player can go to a forest, where there is a girl who lives on Two Island that is under attack by a Hypno. After saving the girl, the player can access the mini-games on Two Island and return to Kanto in order to finish his or her Pokémon League challenge. After beating the Elite Four and getting the National Pokédex, the player can get a Nugget and catch Dunsparce in the port.

Events
*A girl will be under attack by a Hypno and you must rescue her from a forest.

==Islands 4-7==\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\
These islands are accessible after defeating the Elite Four, getting the National Pokédex, and getting the Ruby from One Island. Celio will give the player a Rainbow Pass.

Four Island (Floe Island)
Four Island (Floe Island) has a day-care center and Icefall Cave. Unlike the Kanto day-care center south of Cerulean, this day-care center can have two Pokémon at the same time; providing a perfect opportunity for Pokémon breeding. Icefall Cave is a frozen cave where HM07, Waterfall, can be found, and rare Ice-type Pokémon, such as Dewgong (also found at Seafoam Islands), Sneasel, Swinub, Delibird, and Lapras can be found. Four Island is also the home of Elite four Lorelei, who grew up on the island.

Events
*There is a day-care center where players can breed their pokemon
*One of the ice caves holds HM07, waterfall

Five Island (Chrono Island)
Five Island (Chrono Island) is very large. This island is home to the Team Rocket Warehouse, which the protagonist cannot access before visiting Six Island. The hero obtains the Sapphire item here which is vital for compatibility with Ruby and Sapphire, after the scientist snatched it on Six Island. South of the Warehouse is a memorial pillar for a boy's dead Onix. Five Island has a sea route known as Water Labyrinth in which Hoppip can be found. In this area, the player can receive an egg which hatches into Togepi. East of the Water Labyrinth there is an expensive resort called "Resort Gorgeous".
bitch
East of Resort Gorgeous, there is a cave known as the Lost Cave (reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda’s Lost Woods) a maze where Murkrow appear in Pokémon FireRed and Misdreavus appear in Pokémon LeafGreen. At the bottom of this cave is a lost girl named Selphy from Resort Gorgeous. She reacts hostilely and engages the player. Once defeated, the player is transported back to Resort Gorgeous, where she will ask to see a random Pokemon. If presented, she will give the player a random item which can be sold, or a Luxury Ball. If the player returns to the room in the cave where Selphy was afterwards, a Silk Scarf can be obtained there.

Events
*5 island is home to many pokemon such as Sentret and Gyarados
*It also houses the Rocket Headquarters where inside players have the chance to obtain the sapphire plate needed for the machine in island 1.
*To the North-West you can go to a Man who will give you an egg which hatches into a Togepi.
*To the south there is a rock altar where a boy is mourning in front for his dead Onix. Give him a drink and he will give you a technical machine in return.

Six Island (Fortune Island)
Six Island (Fortune Island) is another large island. It has a forest called Pattern Bush, which has lots of Pokémon trainers and the location of Heracross, Ledyba and Spinarak. There are ruins to the south, which contain Yanma, Natu, Wobbuffet and Sentret. There is a mysterious building which has Braille encrypted that says cut to get in where the Sapphire is found but stolen by a Team Rocket scientist. There is also Altering Cave, which shifts catchable Pokémon depending on the Mystery Events. Originally, only Zubat can be found in this cave. Mystery Gift can cause Shuckle, Aipom, Mareep, Stantler, Teddiursa, Houndour, Pineco, and Smeargle to appear, which are all exclusive to this area (except in Emerald, in which these Pokémon are encountered in the new area of Safari Zone)

Events
* The Forest to the West is a passage way to get to another small island containing a couple of trainers who want to battle.
*There are some ruins in island 6 in which contains the sapphire plate. A Team rocket scientist will steal it first so players will have to follow him back to retrieve it.

Seven Island (Quest Island)
Seven Island (Quest Island) is one of the major islands. It has Trainer Tower, which is unlike the Battle Tower of Ruby and Sapphire. In it, trainers can choose from four battle types: Single Battle, Double Battle, Knockout Battle and Mixed Battle. The area also has ruins known as Tanoby Ruins that have wild Unown inside, but the Unown will not appear until the player completes a puzzle in the Tanoby Key, located north of the ruins, in Sevault Canyon.

Also in Sevault Canyon are high-level wild Skarmory, Larvitar and Phanpy, among other Pokémon and trainers. It also has the most complete regular-sized Pokémart in the game.

Events
*To the north, is battle tower.
*To the south is a puzzle which requires players to use HM04, Strength.
*Further to the south are 7 different ruins with Unown in them.

Islands 8-9
To get to these islands, the player needs items either from a Nintendo Event or a cheating device such as a Gameshark or Action Replay. These are also the only of the Sevii Islands which are accessible in Emerald.
Eight Island (Navel Rock)
To get to this island, players need the Mystic Ticket, which can only be obtained at a special Nintendo Event. Navel Rock has only one cave, inside of which there are two Legendary Pokémon: Level 70 Ho-oh and Lugia.
Ho-oh is found when players choose the left path at the intersection then going up a number of stairs.
Lugia is found when players choose the right path at the intersection then going down a number of stairs.

In Pokemon Emerald, Navel Rock is accessible.

Nine Island (Birth Island)
To get to this island, players need an Aurora Ticket which can be obtained at a Pokémon Rocks America tour or any other announced tour. Birth Island is shaped like a triangle, and on it there is a smaller triangle which the player can move around. This may be a reference to the Bermuda Triangle. Once the player moves it around in a certain combination of directions, the triangle will turn red and break apart, revealing a Lv30 Deoxys (#386). It will have an attack stat increased for FireRed, defensive stat increased for LeafGreen, and a speed stat increased for Emerald. Deoxys will change form depending which game it is in.
Although the Aurora Ticket is not commonly available, it may be obtained from the official poke'mon center which is located in NYC.
