[[John DiIulio]] is the Frederic Fox Leadership Professor of Political Science at the [[University of Pennsylvania]] and a senior fellow at the [[Brookings Institution]].

He served as the first director of the [[White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives]] under President [[George W. Bush]] from early 2001 to August 2001. He was succeeded by [[Jim Towey]]. He has authored numerous studies on crime, government, and the relationship between religion and public policy. He is also the co-author of the textbook "American Government" with [[James Q. Wilson]]. He received his PhD in Government from [[Harvard University]].
