The seminary was founded by the Michigan Theological Society in 1994 in [[Ann Arbor, Michigan]]. The seminary moved to Plymouth in 1996. The seminary’s first graduating class was December, 1996. The seminary archived accreditation through [[Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools]] (TRACS) in 2003 and the [[Association of Theological Schools]] (ATS) in 2007.
