Cerberus first appeared in ''[[Thor (Marvel Comics)|Thor]]'' #130 (July 1966), and was created by [[Stan Lee]] and [[Jack Kirby]].

==Fictional character biography==
As in [[Greek mythology|Greek]] and [[Roman mythology]], Cerberus is the gigantic, three-headed guardian of [[Pluto (Marvel Comics)|Pluto]]'s underworld.{{issue}} He is able to become a humanoid figure and was defeated by Thor when the Thunder god tried to rescue Hercules from Pluto.{{issue}}
