Dahranwala (Punjabi, Urdu: ڈاہرانوالہ) is a town of tehsil Chishtian (sub-district) in Bahawalnagar District of the Punjab Province of Pakistan.The town Dahranwala situated in east of Harunabad, south of Chishtian and north of Fortabbas.[1] As we know southern Punjab is backward province of Pakistan but with the passage of time Southern Punjab has much improved. Similarly, cities of Sothern Punjab has also become more facilated. These cities are not less than cities of Nothern Punjab. In Dahranwala, there are educational institutes more than two dozen and 5 public private hospitals. 10 years people of Dahranwala were going to other cities Chishtian, Harunabad for educational and health facilities. Dahranwala consisted on 9 rural and urban union councils.

Climate
[edit]The climate of Dahranwala is hot and humid.This city has four seasons of weather like other cities of Punjab. The temperature extremes occur during the months of May, June, and July, when the temperature reaches up to 49–55 °C. In August, the monsoon seasons starts, with heavy rainfall throughout the area. December and January are the coldest months, when temperatures can drop down to –1 °C. The annual average rainfall is 160 mm.
