==2008/2009 "New Build"==
Orpington College has recently undergone a £26 million rebuild, which includes the construction of an additional site attached to the back of the college, a new student common room, and refurbishing of each of the buildings ten floors.

The main bulding work has finished, 10 weeks ahead of schedule and is already being used by Staff and Students.

The new building has been named "Ozone" after the College held a competition, which Student Martin Baker won.

===Air Raid Shelter===
A [[World War II]] [[air-raid shelter]] was discovered in November 2008 during construction <ref>[http://www.orpington.ac.uk/view/news/item/579 Orpington News: Wartime Shelter uncovered at college]</ref>. This shelter would have housed Orpington residents from German bombing raids, and was buried when the Walnuts Shopping Centre was built.
