{{Ping|Skyerise}} Hi! Member of [[WP:Wikiproject Wikify]] here. Thanks for all the work you've done on this article. I see that the <nowiki>{{lead too short}}</nowiki> tag was placed here around time last year when you were doing an overhaul - can you specify what information you think is missing from the lead? -- '''[[User:Missionedit|Missionedit]]''' ([[User talk:Missionedit|talk]] • [[Special:Contributions/Missionedit|contribs]]) 01:44, 10 August 2022 (UTC) |

Any reason we had to use a racist image for this article? [[User:Oxusnary|Oxusnary]] ([[User talk:Oxusnary|talk]]) 07:32, 23 February 2022 (UTC) |

::beep beep beep beep, my people who can't see racism detector is going off again. This thing must be broken, there is no way people don't notice the image of admitted bigot Aleister Crowley dressed up in faux Egyptian garb. Are there no images of people not wearing someone else's history as a costume that would be suitable? :::LOL. All the borrowing occurred during classical times, to the Greeks, to the Roman, and so forth to the English - in the 1st century. Nothing more than theatrical tradition, which is common to all cultures. Nothing to see here, move on, move on... Merge from Magick (Thelema)
[edit]The above article was basically a POV fork of this one (see Talk:Magick (Thelema)) emphasizing the views of Aleister Crowley rather than a general view of the topic. I was bold and fixed it. The merged article is superior and now other pre- and post-Crowleyan views on the various subtopics can be freely added. Skyerise (talk) 00:13, 18 December 2021 (UTC)
Techniques section
[edit]The article in general, but especially the "Techniques" section, need views, possibly quotations, from other magicians than Crowley, possibly one earlier and one or two later magicians and/or academic views in each subsection. Skyerise (talk) 16:41, 20 December 2021 (UTC)
