Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:
*[[:File:Arkham Intelligence Logo.png]]
You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the [[copyright]] status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the ''exact'' source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact source (such as the web page, or printed document) where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain, search engine, pinboard, aggregator, or the direct/bare URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following [{{fullurl:Special:Log|type=upload&user={{BASEPAGENAMEE}}}} this link]. Introduction to contentious topics

[edit]

You have recently edited a page related to articles about living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic designated as contentious. This is a brief introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

 • adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
 • comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
 • follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
 • comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
 • refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

Please note that American politics is also a contentious topic. --Hipal (talk) 19:45, 23 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Contentious topic alert

[edit]
This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Thank you for sharing the standardized sanctions for this topic. I'll try to familiarize myself with these stricter guidelines before editing the topic again. Kentuckyfriedtucker (talk) 16:37, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If you could further assist me so that I can adequately follow protocol --
I used this reference believing it was a credible source. https://technode.global/2023/11/17/binance-labs-invests-in-arkm-token-to-support-on-chain-insights-at-scale-across-the-blockchain-ecosystem/
You determined that the information was pulled from a reprinted press release. I want to avoid making this mistake in the future. Can you explain how I can tell if an article has been recycled from a press release? I have seen press releases reprinted before, but usually it is explicitly credited as such (i.e. "News provided by XXX"). Kentuckyfriedtucker (talk) 17:19, 23 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Vladislav Doronin

[edit]

Hi Kentuckyfriedtucker, I'd be grateful for your help with an edit request I posted on Vladislav Doronin's Talk page. A different editor prematurely closed the request; these three issues remain unresolved. I noticed that you edited the page for OKO Group, which is Doronin's company, so I thought you might have an interest in editing his personal page as well. Thank you for your help, Astraea2024 (talk) 16:46, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

ArbCom 2024 Elections voter message

[edit]

Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2024 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:44, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Better source request for File:Arkham Intelligence Logo.png

[edit]

Thanks for your upload to Wikipedia:

You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete or generic. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily.

You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you. — Ирука13

Apologies, and thank you. I will work to correct this. -- Kentuckyfriedtucker (talk) 15:22, 24 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:Arkham Intelligence Logo.png

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Arkham Intelligence Logo.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of non-free use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 03:03, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
