It would be great to identify the peacock wording within the article. Currently, the template is jeopardizing the article's "Good Article" status. <span style="font-family: Old English Text MT;"> <span style="color:#ffd700;background:#000080">Johnny Au</span></span> (talk/contributions) 15:35, 24 April 2021 (UTC) |

==GA Reassessment== |

:What is jeopardising the GA status is the sudden flurry of partisan editing , especially to the lede and including edits such as this . Has the University decided to recruit professional spammers to up the ante? This stuff does not belong in the lede and hardly belongs anywhere in an article about an excellent University. Facts speak for themselves. Hyped up rankings add little and look like advertising and promotion. <span style="background-color:lightblue"> Velella </span><span style="background-color:lightblue"> Velella Talk </span> 20:27, 24 April 2021 (UTC) |

:::That seems reasonable. A University of this calibre deserves a GA article status article. Maybe it is just a flurry of new undergrads hyping up their new alma mater, but whatever the reason, the content needs to be kept balanced by one means or another. <span style="background-color:lightblue"> Velella </span><span style="background-color:lightblue"> Velella Talk </span> 07:42, 25 April 2021 (UTC) |

It seems the hiring controversy should probably be included in the article including the fallout which generated dozens of newspaper articles: see https://www.caut.ca/latest/2021/04/caut-council-imposes-rare-censure-against-university-toronto-over-azarova-hiring for a new development. --hroest 17:15, 26 April 2021 (UTC) |

::Actually, I think the Munk school should be removed from this list, as it's not a faculty, but a department within the Faculty of Arts and Science (and is correctly listed on that page). Similarly, the faculty of forestry should be removed, as it no longer exists (it's been folded into the Daniels faculty of architecture). :I have not added him here, because just being notable isn't enough to merit inclusion in a prose list like that; we cannot fit every notable graduate into one paragraph. However, that is exactly what list pages are for, so I have added him to the appropriate section of the appropriate list article. - <span style="color:#ff69b4">Astrophobe</span> (talk) 21:38, 23 May 2022 (UTC) |

Numerous uncited paragraphs, including most of the Notable people section and residences. Demographics section needs an update of the prose, and the history section needs an update of COVID-19 information (and I'd argue that it needs to be expanded to include many more significant events). Z1720 (talk) 01:58, 14 September 2023 (UTC)
- Delist per citation issues and outdated demographics. This history section overall does seem lopsided, though I don't know if COVID-19 is due, unless it uniquely had a major effect on the university. Thebiguglyalien (talk) 07:44, 23 September 2023 (UTC)
- I agree that the article does look outdated somewhat. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 12:06, 24 September 2023 (UTC)
