Gustavo Raul "Gus" Sorola III (born February 22, 1978) is an American actor and podcast host.[1][2]
Early life
[edit]Sorola was born in Austin, and raised in Eagle Pass, Texas, near the Mexico–United States border.[3] After choosing to drop out from Rice University, he started working at a tech support company, teleNetwork, where he met Rooster Teeth co-founders Burnie Burns and Geoff Ramsey.[4]
Career

Since 2003, he has voiced the character of Richard Simmons in the machinima series Red vs. Blue.[6] He was also a voice actor in The Strangerhood from 2004 to 2006.[7] His live-action credits include Rooster Teeth Shorts, which started in 2009, and Immersion, which started in 2010. He also starred in three RT Docs: Unconventional, Why We're Here, and Common Ground.[8][9][10]
