"Global Eagle Automobile" is the core automobile brand of Geely Holding Group. On November 6, 2008, Geely Holding officially released a new sub-brand "Global Hawk - GLEAGLE". This is an important measure of the strategic transformation of Geely Holdings' brand strategy. At the Guangzhou Auto Show in 2008, the Geely Panda was officially launched as the first model under the "Global Hawk" brand. The Global Hawk symbolizes "vitality, breakthrough and splendor". The models under the Global Hawk brand include: Global Hawk GX7, Global Hawk GC7, Global Hawk GX2, Vision and other models. |

The overall outline of Global Hawk Auto's brand logo is an ellipse, which is a figure with both dynamic and stable features, and symbolizes the background of globalization, implying Geely's dynamic and stable development prospects in the global market. The oval shape is like a horn, implying Geely's pioneering, forging ahead, loyalty and sense of mission. The middle part of the logo is a variant of Geely's initial letter "G", and it is also in the shape of the Arabic numeral "6". "6" contains the meaning of "auspicious and smooth" in traditional Chinese culture. The shape of the global eagle shows that in the new stage, Geely Holdings is ready to go with a new passion and attitude, and emerges in the continuous self-cultivation. |

Gleagle (Chinese: 全球鹰; pinyin: Quánqiú Yīng) was an entry-level brand of automobiles manufactured by Geely.[1] Some Gleagle cars, such as the Gleagle Panda, were available for sale on the Internet in China via the Taobao Mall, a popular e-commerce site.[2][3] While Geely would deliver the car to the customer's address, buying one of the Panda models on offer did necessitate a trip to a traditional dealer.[4] This sub-brand was discontinued in 2015; most products continued to be sold directly under the Geely brand.
History

In 2014, Geely announced that it would phase out these three brands and would once again sell all vehicles under the brand Geely expel.[6] In 2015, this restructuring was still ongoing[7] and completed in 2016.[8]

At the end of 2010, this brand had 363 car dealerships in China.[14] One year later, it was 336,[15] and next year 324.[16]
