This fruit doesn't have any of the xanthones in the rind unlike the mangosteen because it doesn't have a rind, only a skin. Therefore putting spam links on the site advertising mangosteen rind juice with unproven medicinal properties means nothing because its completely unrelated. - CiXeL

The article doesn't provide a source for the claim that G. Prainiana is grown at the Whitman pavilion, and correspondence with the Director of Collections at Fairchild indicates that their last specimen died in 2013. 76.237.198.49 (talk) 15:17, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
