Infobox and lede

• I would remove the final sentence of the first paragraph: the information about him being Wario's tennis partner and sidekick can be moved to the next paragraph, since it's more about his first appearance than a general statement, while the second half of the sentence is redundant.
• Add a sentence about his most noticeable features (tall and lanky, purple, upside-down L) to the lede.

Concept and creation

• Absolutely perfect photo choice in this section.
• The second paragraph should be moved later in this section, probably before the last paragraph.
• Waluigi's appearance was designed...: This sentence should be split in two
• Address the "better source needed" tag

Characteristics

• Consider moving this above the "concept and creation" section
• (gamma) → (an upside-down "L")
• evil-looking is subjective - stick to neutral descriptors unless quoting a source.
• His original role was to be the tennis partner of Wario, but their relationship is ambiguous.: move this to the middle of the next paragraph
• In various Mario sports games...: split this sentence in two

Appearances

• Clarify that he did not appear in any 2023 games
• After Mario Party 3, he returned as a playable character in every subsequent game in the Mario Party series,: remove the comma after series and move citation to the end of the sentence.
• Make sure that the verb tense matches - some are in past tense here, others in present tense.
• No need to mention the shutdown date for Dr. Mario World

Reception

• The lede mentions Waluigi being an internet meme, but that's not discussed in this section.
• I'd add a wiktionary link to wikt:colorway, since that's not a terribly common term.
