In the Pool Room, an Executive Veto was displayed. On Day 33, an "Executive Meeting" was held, with the Lounge Room transformed into a Boardroom. The HouseGuests were told that the Executive Veto would be awarded by a Chain of Rejection. Beginning with Elijah, as reigning Head of Household, each HouseGuest would select another HouseGuest to reject, denying them the opportunity to gain the power. The remaining unselected HouseGuest would be awarded the Executive Veto. It was then revealed that the power of the Executive Veto would allow the holder to veto one of that week's nominations, with the saved nominee naming the replacement nomination. Elijah as Head of Household and Lexus as the week's regular Veto Holder were immune to this nomination .

Summary
On Day 1, 12 new HouseGuests entered the Big Brother Canada House. They immediately learned two All-Stars would join them as mystery HouseGuests: Victoria from season 9 and Anthony from season 7. Before they entered the House, Arisa informed the two they would have safety for the first week. However, they would not be able to compete in the first competition. They were instead captains of two entourages. The other HouseGuests would compete to earn the right to join each entourage, while Anthony and Victoria would face-off later for one of them to become the first Head of Household, with their entourage winning safety. The 12 HouseGuests then competed in the Choose Your Entourage competition. In this competition, HouseGuests had to hold onto a rope while standing on a slanted platform. As the competition continued, they had to move down the rope, making it harder to hold on. If a HouseGuest falls, they will be eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing will earn safety for the week. In addition, the order in which they drop will decide the picking order for which entourage to join. Lexus was the winner and won safety. Lexus, Donna, Vivek, Bayleigh, Dinis, and Elijah joined Anthony's entourage. Tola, Matthew, Janine, Avery, Todd, and Kayla joined Victoria' entourage. The game quickly became divided along gender lines, with both a men's and women's alliance, known as "Big Sister". Daniel from Season 11 arrived to host the Head of Household competition. The HouseGuests then competed in the Art of Betrayal Head of Household competition. In this competition, the new HouseGuests were asked a series of first impression questions. Anthony and Victoria were then tasked to guess what the majority of their Entourage answered. With each incorrect answer, the Captain must eliminate one of their entourage members. If they both answer correctly, the HouseGuest who locks in last has to eliminate a member. The HouseGuest with the last entourage member standing will become the first Head of Household, earning safety for their team. Anthony became the new Head of Household, and his entourage earned safety. On Day 6, the twelve new HouseGuests baked in the Bon Appetit Have-Not competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must crawl down their lane to the table of pies. They must then search the pies using only their face to find a card, with either "Have" or "Try Again". Once they find a card, regardless of what it says, the HouseGuest must chug a glass of milk, crawl back down their lane, and the next HouseGuest begins. The first two teams to find four Have cards will be Haves for the week, while the remaining team will become Have-Nots. Avery, Donna, Lexus, and Vivek became Have-Nots for the week. On Day 7, Anthony nominated Avery and Janine for eviction. Anthony, Avery, Kayla, Lexus, and Victoria formed the "Hot Chocolate" alliance. On Day 8, Avery and Janine, as well as Tola, Dinis, and Matthew, competed in the Down the Rabbit Hole Power of Veto competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must crawl into their pitch black burrow to find a puzzle grid. Using their sense of touch, they must identify the shapes on their grid, search the burrow for the matching pieces, and recreate the grid on their station. The first HouseGuest to correctly recreate their grid will win the Power of Veto. Dinis was the winner. On Day 10, Dinis decided not to use the Power of Veto. On Day 13, Janine was evicted by a 11-0 vote. Arisa then informed the HouseGuests that the entourages were over, and it was an individual game.

Following Janine's eviction, the HouseGuests competed in the Spitting Venom Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must suck up venom from their basin with their mouths, climb the stairs, and spit their venom in another HouseGuest's tube. If a HouseGuest's tube reaches the red line, they will be eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing will be the new Head of Household. Victoria was the winner. For being the first four HouseGuests eliminated during the Head of Household competition, Dinis, Elijah, Todd, and Vivek became Have-Nots for the week. Despite winning, Victoria was unhappy at being the new Head of Household. Victoria hoped to target Vivek, who had been targeting her from the beginning. The "Hot Chocolate" alliance also added Elijah and Matthew to form "The Directors" alliance. On Day 14, Victoria nominated Elijah and Vivek for eviction. Showmances began to blossom between Donna and Todd, as well as Matthew and Lexus. Victoria began to feel weary of Donna and Todd's relationship, while Avery questioned Donna and Vivek's closeness, as well as the possibility of an East Coast alliance. As a result, Victoria changed her target to Donna. On Day 15, Elijah and Vivek, alongside Dinis, Lexus, and Avery, competed in the Comp Beast Boot Camp Power of Veto competition, hosted by Demetres from Season 5. In this competition, HouseGuests had to maneuver 16 blocks, 2 at a time, along the rope through an obstacle course and drop them in a box. After transferring all the blocks, they must arrange the blocks to solve a puzzle. The first HouseGuest to complete the puzzle will win the Power of Veto. Dinis was the winner. On Day 17, Dinis used the Power of Veto on Vivek, and Victoria named Donna as the replacement nominee. On Day 18, the HouseGuests were given the task to split into two crews and write, direct, and shoot short films. Victoria would decide the winner. The team of Avery, Bayleigh, Elijah, Lexus, Matthew, and Vivek won and each earned $1000 from Samsung. On Day 20, Donna was evicted by a 7-3 vote, with Bayleigh, Dinis, and Todd voting to evict Elijah.

Following Donna's eviction, the HouseGuests competed in the Steal the Spotlight Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must wait in the backlot for the spotlights to turn on. They must then race to stand in a spotlight. However, there will always be one less spotlight than there are players. In addition, they will be offered temptations, such as food, beer, a massage from Season 11 HouseGuest Roberto, slop passes, and an advantage, throughout the competition to lure them away from the backlot. If a HouseGuest fails to claim a spotlight, they will be eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing will be the new Head of Household. Vivek was the winner. Avery found the advantage during the competition, revealed to be safety for the week. As the new Head of Household, Vivek was required to name four Have-Nots for the week. Anthony, Bayleigh, Matthew, and Tola became Have-Nots for the week. On Day 21, Vivek nominated Bayleigh and Elijah for eviction, with Bayleigh as the target. On Day 22, Bayleigh and Elijah, plus Kayla, Dinis, and Anthony, competed in the Fun In the Sun Power of Veto competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must lay in their beach chair, containing a built-in buzzer. When the horn sounds, HouseGuests have three minutes to search the sand for puzzle pieces and begin building their puzzle. If a HouseGuest prematurely releases their buzzer, or fails to return to their chair before the three minutes are up, they will be eliminated. The first HouseGuest to complete their puzzle will win the Power of Veto, as well as $5000 from Sunwing. Kayla was the winner. To protect the "Hot Chocolate" alliance, Kayla, Anthony, and Victoria worked to convince Vivek to backdoor Dinis, his closest ally. On Day 24, Kayla took Bayleigh off the block, and Vivek nominated Dinis in her place. On Day 25, the HouseGuests were given the task to balance an egg on a spoon for 30 minutes. Any HouseGuest who drops their egg will be disqualified, while everyone else will receive a meal from "Skip". Everyone besides Avery, Elijah, and Anthony earned the meal. On Day 27, Dinis was evicted by a 9-0 vote.

Following Dinis' eviction, the HouseGuests competed in the No Business Like Quiz Business Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests were asked a series of questions regarding the awards in the Trophy Room. If a HouseGuest answered incorrectly, they will be eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing will be the new Head of Household. Elijah was the winner. On Day 28, the HouseGuests competed in the Milky Meadows Have-Not competition. Split into two teams, HouseGuests must fill their mouths with milk from the bottles and transfer it to the bucket. The team who transfers more milk after 20 minutes will win the competition. In addition, they will save one member of the losing team, while the other members will be Have-Nots for the week. Avery, Bayleigh, Matthew, Lexus, and Todd won the competition. They saved Anthony, while Kayla, Tola, Victoria, and Vivek became Have-Nots for the week. Lexus and Matthew's relationship started to cause cracks in the "Big Sister" alliance. On Day 28, Elijah nominated Todd and Tola for eviction, with the plan to backdoor Bayleigh. On Day 29, Todd and Tola, in addition to Anthony, Lexus, and Bayleigh, gambled in the Game Day Power of Veto competition, sponsored by "TonyBet". In each round of the competition, HouseGuests were presented with a challenge. Players will privately bid how quickly they believe they can complete the task. The HouseGuest who bids the lowest will have to accomplish the task within the time they bid. If they succeed, the player can eliminate anyone else from the competition. If they fail, they will be eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing will win the Power of Veto, as well as $5,000 from "TonyBet". Lexus was the winner. On Day 31, Lexus decided not to use the Power of Veto. On Day 33, the HouseGuests discovered the Executive Veto was missing. Arisa then brought everyone to a board meeting to discuss the power of the Executive Veto. Through the power of the Executive Veto, someone will leave the House tonight. In order to decide who earns it, the HouseGuests will participate in a Chain of Rejection. Starting with Elijah, each person must select another HouseGuest to deny the power of the Veto. The last HouseGuest remaining will earn the Executive Veto. Victoria received the Executive Veto. As the holder, Victoria can remove one of the nominees from the chopping block. The person she vetoes will have the responsibility of naming their own replacement nominee. Victoria took Todd off the block, and Todd named Vivek as the replacement nominee. As a final twist, all HouseGuests had to vote publicly and face-to-face. On Day 33, Vivek was evicted by an 8-0 vote.

Following Vivek's eviction, the HouseGuests competed in the What's Shakin Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests had 30 seconds each to slide three milkshakes down the table into the scoring sections. If they are unhappy with their score, they can try again. The HouseGuest with the highest score will be the new Head of Household. Avery was the winner. Being fed up with Anthony's domineering attitude, the girls wanted Avery to put up Matthew to force Anthony to show his cards. On Day 35, Avery nominated Elijah and Tola for eviction, with Elijah as the target. The girls alliance shifted their target, wanting to evict a stronger guy over Elijah. On Day 36, Elijah and Tola, accompanied by Bayleigh, Victoria, and Lexus, brushed in the Brush Away Power of Veto competition, sponsored by "Sonicare". In this competition, HouseGuests must retrieve their teeth from a pool of gunk using their stick and carry it over the beam. They must then brush the tooth clean, carry it back to their mouth, and balance it on their ledge. In addition, if a HouseGuest chooses, they can balance three teeth on their smaller ledge to freeze a competitor for two minutes. The first HouseGuest to balance 25 teeth on their mouth will win the Power of Veto, as well as $5,000 from "Sonicare". Tola was the winner. On Day 28, Tola took himself off the block, and Avery named Matthew as the replacement nominee. Anthony wanted his alliance to evict Elijah, while Victoria and the "Hot Chocolate" alliance wanted to evict Matthew due to his relationship with Lexus. On Day 39, Alejandra and Olivia from Season 6 entered the House to give Victoria a secret mission from Samsung. She was required to play a series of pranks on the HouseGuests. Victoria passed her task. On Day 40, Matthew was evicted by a 4-3 vote, with Anthony, Lexus, and Tola voting to evict Elijah.

Following Matthew's eviction, Arisa informed the HouseGuests of the "Movie Night Massacre" twist. Over the next 24 hours, the HouseGuests would cast one another in various roles, affecting everyone's gameplay. They were then informed another HouseGuest would be evicted the following night. The HouseGuests competed in the Don't Panic competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must balance a jar on two lengths of chain. In addition, they will have their head trapped in a glass chamber, restricting their movement. The winner would be safe from the Massacre and have control in the game. In addition, the order in which they drop will decide the order they cast each other in their roles. Bayleigh was the winner. The HouseGuests were then presented with eight roles: the Head of Household, two nominees, a slop pass recipient, three Veto players, and no eviction vote. Starting with Bayleigh, and in the other they dropped from the competition, each HouseGuest must secretly select a competitor and cast them in a role. Ultimately, Victoria became the Head of Household, while Avery and Kayla were nominated for eviction. Anthony received a season-long slop pass, and Elijah lost his eviction vote. Avery, Kayla, Lexus, Todd, and Tola then competed in the Blood Thirsty Power of Veto competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must drink three glasses of blood to reveal number on the bottom of the glasses. They must use the three numbers to unlock a combination lock, releasing their puzzle pieces. The first HouseGuest to correctly complete their puzzle will win the Power of Veto. Kayla was the winner. Kayla took herself off the block, and Victoria named Elijah as the replacement nominee. On Day 41, Elijah was evicted by a 6-0 vote. He became the first member of the jury. Following Elijah's eviction, the HouseGuests competed in the Back to the Drawing Board Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests played in head-to-head matches. In each round, they were shown a pattern. Using their blocks, they must replicate it on their board. The first person to buzz in with the correct pattern will eliminate their opponent and advance. However, if they buzz in and have the pattern incorrect, they will be eliminated, and their opponent will advance. The winner of the match will then select the next two HouseGuests to face off. The last HouseGuest standing will be the new Head of Household. Avery was the winner. On Day 42, Avery nominated Todd and Tola for eviction. Fearing the girls within "Hot Chocolate", Anthony began spreading lies throughout the alliance to put the target on Kayla. On Day 43, Todd and Tola, coupled with Bayleigh, Lexus, and Kayla, competed in the Off the Grid Power of Veto competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must navigate down their lane, trying not to knock off any of the power rods blocking their path. If they knock off a rod, they must reset and start again. However, they must go down their lane blindfolded. Once they are at the other end, they may remove their blindfold and begin building their puzzle. However, they must build their puzzle using only their sense of touch. The first HouseGuest to solve their puzzle will win the Power of Veto. Bayleigh was the winner. On Day 45, Bayleigh used the Power of Veto on Todd, and Avery named Kayla as the replacement nominee. On Day 48, Kayla was evicted by a 5-0 vote. She became the second member of the jury.

Following Kayla's eviction, the HouseGuests exercised in the BBCAN Fitness Factory Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must balance a ball on their plank. The platform is connected to their hips, and they must sway back and forth to keep the ball balanced. At some point in the competition, they will switch to a bigger ball. If a HouseGuest drops their ball, they will be eliminated. The last HouseGuest standing will be the new Head of Household and secretly earn the ability to have a strategy session with Season 10 winner Kevin Jacobs. Tola was the winner. As the first three to drop in the Head of Household competition, Bayleigh, Victoria, and Anthony became Have-Nots for the week, though Anthony was safe due to his slop pass. Tola sought to target Avery due to her competition prowess and as repayment for her nominating him. On Day 49, Tola nominated Avery and Bayleigh for eviction, with Avery as the target. On Day 50, Avery and Bayleigh, beside Anthony, Todd, and Victoria, focused in the Eyes on the Sky Power of Veto competition, sponsored by "Endy". In this competition, HouseGuests must watch the monitor and use their clicker to count the number of shooting stars in the sky. During the competition, Big Brother will make them offers, on which they can bid using their alarm clock. However, if they win a bid, they must wear a blindfold for the length of time equal to their bid. The HouseGuest with the most accurate count will win the Power of Veto. Todd was the winner. Anthony also won $5,000 from "Endy". On Day 52, Todd decided not to use the Power of Veto. Just before the live vote, Arisa announced the Double Eviction to the HouseGuests. On Day 55, Avery was evicted by a 3-1 vote, with Victoria voting to evict Bayleigh. She became the third member of the jury. The HouseGuests immediately raced in the Race to the Sum Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must run through the House to witness a marathon. They must count the sum of the numbers on the racers' bibs. They have three minutes to lock in an answer. The HouseGuest with the closest count will be the new Head of Household. Victoria was the winner. She immediately nominated Lexus and Tola for eviction. Everyone except Victoria then scrubbed in the Down the Drain Power of Veto competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must tilt and turn their bathtub to make 250 bubbles fall down the drain. The first HouseGuest to empty their tub and hit their buzzer will win the Power of Veto. Todd was the winner. At the Veto Meeting, he decided not to use the Power of Veto. On Day 55, Tola was evicted by a 3-0 vote. He became the fourth member of the jury.

On Day 34, Vivek was evicted by an 8-0 vote.
Following Avery and Tola's evictions, the HouseGuests vied in the Nepo Babies Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests must listen to a series of the speeches given by the HouseGuests throughout the season. However, the speeches are morphed to sound as if they were babies. They must identify who gave each speech, and each correct answer earned them a point. The HouseGuest with the most points after five quotes will be the new Head of Household. Anthony was the winner. Seeing her as his biggest threat, Anthony looked to betray Victoria and send her to the jury. On Day 56, Anthony nominated Lexus and Todd for eviction. On Day 57, the HouseGuests gathered in The Socialite Power of Veto competition, sponsored by "Social Lite Vodka". In this competition, HouseGuests must conquer three different games. They must first stack their ice cubes while keeping their glass stable. Once they complete it, they must toss strawberries into their drink. Afterwards, they must roll their ball along their lime into its hole. They can then use the opportunity to study the maze of pipes that leads to ten glasses, one of which has the Veto in front of it. They must choose a drink from above, hoping to pour the drink that leads to the Veto. If they guess incorrectly, they must conquer the games again before pouring another drink. The HouseGuest who pours the drink leading to the Veto necklace will win the Power of Veto, as well as $5,000 from "Socialite". Todd was the winner. On Day 58, Todd took himself off the block, and Victoria was named as the replacement nominee. On Day 60, Victoria was evicted by a 2-0 vote. She became the fifth member of the jury.

Following Victoria's eviction, the HouseGuests sought a spot in the final three in the Before or After Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests were read a series of events from the season. They must determine whether the first event took place before or after the second event. Each correct answer earned them one point. The HouseGuest with the most points will be the new Head of Household. Bayleigh was the winner. On Day 61, the HouseGuests attended the "Big Brother Canada Awards", where they had the opportunity to watch and reminisce with moments from the season. On Day 61, Bayleigh nominated Lexus and Todd for eviction. On Day 62, the HouseGuests were derailed in the Blockbuster Movie final Power of Veto competition. In part one of the competition, HouseGuests must search the train in order to fix a damaged fuse box. After restoring the power, they must use clues to place the HouseGuests in their correct seats. Using the empty seat numbers, they must collect a briefcase, climb on top of the train and jump to the ground. The HouseGuest who gets off the train in the fastest time will win the Power of Veto. Lexus was the winner. At the live Veto Meeting, Lexus took herself off the block, and Anthony was automatically named the replacement nominee. On Day 63, Lexus cast the sole vote to evict Todd. He became the sixth member of the jury.

Following Todd's eviction, the HouseGuests engaged in their final battle in the Inside Out Part 1 of the Final Head of Household competition, sponsored by Disney for their upcoming movie Inside Out 2. In this competition, HouseGuests must slide down the waterfall into the pool. They must grab the colored orbs, climb to their station, and roll the orbs into their corresponding tube. If they land a ball in the wrong tube, they must restart that tube. The first HouseGuest to correctly fill all their tubes will win Part 1 of the Final Head of Household competition and automatically advance to Part 3. Anthony was the winner. On Day 66, Bayleigh and Lexus then faced off in the Cave of Secrets Part 2 of the Final Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests will be asked four questions. For each question, they must use a magnet to collect a chest of answer blocks, then stack the correct answer blocks on the spinning spike. The HouseGuest who completes all four questions faster will win Part 2 of the Final Head of Household competition and face Anthony in Part 3. Bayleigh was the winner. On Day 69, Anthony and Bayleigh had the final showdown in the Jury Questions Part 3 of the Final Head of Household competition. In this competition, HouseGuests were asked a series of questions based on the members of the jury and their games. A correct answer earned them one point. The HouseGuest with the most points after seven questions will be the final Head of Household. Anthony became the final Head of Household. On Day 69, Anthony cast the sole vote to evict Lexus. She became the seventh and final member of the jury. Before revealing the final vote, Todd was crowned Canada's Favourite HouseGuest and earned $10,000. On Day 69, after receiving Kayla, Avery, Tola, Victoria, Todd, and Lexus' votes, Anthony was deemed the runner-up and walked away with $20,000, and Bayleigh left the House with $100,000, $10,000 each from "Sonicare", "TonyBet", and "Endy", a two-year lease on a 2024 Infinity QX60 SUV, a Cuban vacation from "Sunwing", a $10,000 "Samsung Galaxy" prize pack, $10,000 worth of clothes from "Winners", a year's worth of food from "Skip the Dishes", and was deemed the winner of Big Brother Canada 12.
Following Elijah's eviciton, the HouseGuests competed in the Back to the Drawing Board Head of Household competition.

Season 11

Big Brother Canada 12 is the twelfth and final season of the Canadian reality television series Big Brother Canada. The series premiered on March 5, 2024, on Global. Hosted by Arisa Cox, the show revolves around fourteen contestants (known as HouseGuests), who volunteered to reside in a house under constant surveillance and without any communication with the outside world as they compete to win a grand prize of C$200,000 in cash and prizes.[1] This season of the series sees 12 new HouseGuest compete against two HouseGuests from the prior editions and who are referred to as "All-Stars".[2]

After 69 days in the competition, Bayleigh Pelham, a bartender and new houseguest from Halifax, Nova Scotia, was crowned the winner over returning houseguest Anthony Douglas in a 6–1 vote during the season finale on May 8, 2024. Todd Clements was named Canada's Favourite Houseguest by popular vote.

Format

[edit]

Big Brother Canada follows a group of contestants, known as House Guests who move into a custom-built house outfitted with cameras and microphones, recording their every move 24 hours a day.[3] The House Guests are sequestered in the Big Brother Canada House with no contact with the outside world.[4] During their stay, the House Guests share their thoughts on events and other HouseGuests inside a private room referred to as the Diary Room.[5][6] At the start of each week in the house, the House Guests compete for the title of Head of Household, often shortened to simply HoH.[7] The winner of the HoH competition is immune from eviction and will name two House Guests to be nominated for eviction.[8] After the nominees are determined, the Power of Veto competition is played. Five players will compete in the competition: the two nominees and three random players, with the winner receiving the Power of Veto. If a House Guest chooses to exercise the Power of Veto, the Head of Household is obligated to name a replacement nominee.[9] The holder of the Power of Veto is safe from being nominated as the replacement nominee.[10] On eviction night, all House Guests must vote to evict one of the nominees, with the exception of the nominees and the Head of Household. The eviction vote is by secret ballot, with House Guests casting their votes orally in the Diary Room. In the event of a tied vote, the Head of Household will cast a tie-breaking vote publicly. The nominee with the majority of the votes is evicted from the house. Midway through the season, the evicted House Guests go on to become members of the "jury"; the jury is responsible for choosing who wins the series. The final Head of Household competition is split into three parts; the winners of the first two rounds compete in the third and final round. Once only two House Guests remain, the members of the jury cast their votes for who should win the series.[11][12]

Executive Veto

[edit]

Below is the full selection order for the rejection chain selection.

Rejection Chain
Head of Household Elijah
1 Tola
2 Bayleigh
3 Vivek
4 Todd
5 Lexus
6 Matthew
7 Kayla
8 Anthony
9 Avery
Executive Veto Victoria

Additionally, as part of the Executive Meeting, the HouseGuests would vote in that week's eviction in an face-to-face vote, with HouseGuests writing their vote on a card, before revealing their vote to the group. This voting process had previously occurred in Big Brother Canada 3 as part of an Instant Eviction twist.

The Movie Night Massacre

[edit]

On Day 41, a special Instant Eviction took place. The houseguests competed in a special competition for immunity and to determine the order in which they cast the "roles" of that round. The first place would receive immunity and could cast any other HouseGuest to any other role; the second place would be next to make a casting selection, and so on. Whoever finished in last place would not get to cast any role. No one can cast themselves in a role. The roles are:

  • Safe: The competition winner is automatically cast in this role and awarded immunity for the week. Additionally, they will make the first casting decision.
  • Head of Household: They were also awarded safety for the week. While they will name a replacement nominee should one be required, they will not make the original nominations (as they are roles to be cast) and will not vote unless a tie-break vote is required.
  • Nominee: Two HouseGuests will be cast as the Original Nominees for the week.
  • Slop Pass: The HouseGuest cast in this role will be given a Slop Pass, preventing them from being a Have-Not for the rest of the season.
  • Veto Players: The three HouseGuest Veto Players will play in the PoV in addition to the nominees. There was no random draw for Veto Players.
  • No Eviction Vote: The HouseGuest cast in this role will not vote in the eviction.

The game would then proceed normally, with a Power of Veto competition, Veto Ceremony and an Eviction vote. Below is the order in which each HouseGuest participated in the casting selection process and which HouseGuest they cast to a chosen role. In addition to the gameplay twist, the Immunity/Casting Order and PoV competitions are horror movie-themed.

Summary

[edit]

On Day 6, the twelve new HouseGuests baked in the In Crust We Trust Have-Not competition.

Following Vivek's eviction, the HouseGuests competed in the What's Shakin' Head of Household competition.

Have-Nots

[edit]

At the start of each week, a group of HouseGuests are selected to become the Have-Nots for the week. Those selected to be the Have-Nots are restricted to a slop diet and cold showers. There was no official Have-Not room for this season.

Notes

[edit]
  • ^Note 1 :   On Day 1, the 12 new HouseGuests competed in an endurance challenge. The winner (Lexus) earned Immunity. Additionally, the order they placed determined the order they would select an "Entourage" headed by either All-Star Anthony or Victoria.
  • ^Note 2 : In Week 1, only the All Stars, Anthony and Victoria could compete for the Head of Household. While both were granted immunity for the week (noted by  ) the winner of the HoH competition would also grant immunity to their team (noted by  )
  • ^Note 3 :   During Week 3's HoH Competition, Avery won a Game Advantage, which was revealed to be Immunity for the week.
  • ^Note 4 :     On Day 33, the Executive Veto was introduced to the game during the Executive Meeting and awarded by a Chain of Rejection selection. Unlike the regular Power of Veto, the saved nominee would name the replacement nominee. Lexus as the regular Veto holder, and Elijah as the HoH were immune to this nomination. Victoria won the Executive Veto and used it on Todd. Todd named Vivek as the replacement nominee.
  • ^Note 5 : For Week 5's eviction, as part of the Executive Meeting, the HouseGuests wrote their vote on a card before revealing their votes in a face-to-face round of voting.
  • ^Note 6 : On Day 41, the Movie Night Massacre occurred, in which an instant eviction took place. As part of this twist, an immunity competition took place, which also determined the order in which the HouseGuest would select a role for another HouseGuest in the Movie Night Casting selection - which would determine the roles for the night.   Bayleigh won immunity and was the first to participate in the role selection. Notable role selections included:
    • Bayleigh choosing Victoria as Head of Household.
    • Todd nominating Avery.
    • Tola nominating Kayla.
    • Elijah was ineligible to vote by Anthony (though this penalty was irrelevant as Elijah became the replacement nominee).
  • ^Note 7 : This week was a double eviction week. Following the first eviction, the remaining HouseGuests played a week's worth of games, including HoH and Veto competitions and Nomination, Veto and Eviction ceremonies, during the remainder of the live show, culminating in a second eviction for the night.
  • ^Note 8 : The Jury voted for the winner of Big Brother Canada 12 and grand prize of $200,000 in cash and prizes.
