The Age of History is a video game franchise, also known as AoH. It is a series of grand strategy.[1] videogames developed by Łukasz Jakowski. In 2020, the franchise was renamed from 'Age of Civilizations' to 'Age of History'.[2][3]

Mobile release and spin-offs

The first game in the series, Age of History, was released for mobile devices on September 9, 2014.[4] A version for the windows phone had also been released in 2015.[5] In 2014, a spin-off titled Age of Civilizations: Europe[6] was released, which had focused on a European setting.

In 2015, three more spin-offs were released: Age of History: Asia[7], Age of Civilizations: Americas[8], and Age of Civilizations: Africa.[9] All that remains of these spin-offs is an Age of History II Europe-based spin-off[10]
