‘Got the facts on Milk?’ is a feature documentary that questions the health benefits of dairy products and examines the dairy industry's advertised claims on milk. The film brings forth the true facts on milk with a bite of sarcasm on it’s social impact along with the many recently raised questions regarding hormones, bone health, allergies, lactose intolerance, diabetes, cancer, methane, food assistant programs and the conduct of studies that the dairy industry bases it’s advertising.

Introduction

Based out of Denton, TX, perhaps the most influential band of our time, or, indeed, any time, The Nutrients are a humble trio who insist that despite the adoring fans and constant revenue off of merchandise, their only goals are "to spread peace and peas through out the galaxy".

Whether they're tearing up their instruments with powerful, catchy, tantalizing, backbreaking three chord songs or sticking it to the man, the nutrients are transforming the lives of boys and girls, trannies and poets alike, day in and day out. Getting their start in 1992, these health enthusiasts have been dedicated to the promotion of the combination of organic fruits, veggies, soy products, and the power of music for years.

Though The Nutrients have toured countless amounts of miles and played endless amounts of shows, they are most excited about the prospect of playing a Hogwarts gig very soon. Two of their members, Eggplant Emily and Amino Ashley, attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and discovered a mutual love for nutrition in the Ravenclaw common room. Amino Ashley later then met Mikey Mineral at a nakid sky diving competition.

Not one song has ever dissapointed their loyal listeners since their start, and The Nutrients don't plan on stopping that trend any time soon.

The Early Years

Ashley and Emily have been friends since middle school and meet Mical in college. They wanted to form a band that had their beliefs in the music.

Where are they now?

The band broke up in 2006 after a love triangle between the members. The remaining members have been forced to nine to five jobs like the rest of us smoes. Ashley is now a manager at a theater. Mical works at Hasting and Emily moved to Paris and was never heard of again. But a reunion might be in the works. Ashley and Mical are looking for a new lead guitarist.

Dead or Alive: Online is an upcoming game developped by Tecmo for the PC, it is not being developped by team ninja and the characters are represented in super deformed style.

Bobby Wundu Sowa Newcombe (born on August 8, 1979 in Sierra Leone, Africa) is a former NCAA football quarterback for the Nebraska Cornhuskers. As a sophomore in 1998, Newcombe led his team to a 9-4 record in spite of suffering from a knee injury in the first game that would plague him all season long. He led Nebraska in passing yards with 712 and ran for 228 yards as an option quarterback. Newcombe completed 50-of-79 passes while throwing just one interception. He was replaced by Eric Crouch, a Heisman Trophy winner, the following year.

Manchester artist Charlie Shiels follows an age old tradition of individualism and idiosyncratic British art, developing his style over the last 25 years.

His paintings often include public meeting places- Public Houses, European and American cafe bars, restaurants and Grand hotels. Spots such as these prove to be ideal opportunities to observe the subject matter in detail. Much of the work focuses on transitory groups of people with focus on facial expressions, body language and human interaction. Good humored and affectionate images include sometimes bizarre characters and distorted locations.

Light and shade play a large part in the overall effect of the paintings.

Influences

Shiels takes his influences from a wide range: Rembrandt, Marc Chagall, Stanley Spencer, Mark Rothko, and the background artists of Walt Disney. Traveling increased the inspiration gained for each piece, as did visiting art galleries, architecturally interesting places, and many 'quirkier' cafe bars.

Prior to beginning a new oil painting or series, a number of pencil sketches with pastel color reference or watercolor are produced, and large canvasses take many months to complete.

Career

Charlie Sheils currently lives in Manchester but travels widely.

After leaving school and perusing a variety of jobs, thought maintaining his interest in art by painting in his spare time and exhibiting in group and open shows around north west England. Aged 29 Charlie enrolled in a full time three year Fine art B.A (hons) course. Following this a period of free-lance work (commercial illustration and commissions) then at 38 began teaching Art and Design part time at Stockport College of further Education. This progressed to full time work and soon a promotion to Senior Lecturer.

In 1996 Sheils left teaching to devote himself to full time painting.

His work has been featured in a one ma exhibition at The Unicorn Gallery, Chelsea in 1999, as well as a full page article in The Art Review (1999). Another major exhibition at the Woolff Gallery, Shoreditch, London in 2002, and in a full page article in the Artists and Illustrators magazine in 2003. He also held a one man exhibition at the Blyth Gallery, Manchester, October 2003.

Seafood Gay

Seafood Gay; also known as Boaz Leung; was proposed by his brother in his childhood. This name started gaining higher popularity around the early 20's. He is the pioneer and the most well known seafood gay on the planet. Seafood actually not referred to ordinary seafood that most people known; but as "butt" in Chinese. And "Gay" means he is gay.

WHAT Medicine is an Annual Scientific Conference, organized by Journal of Tropical Medicinal Plants. The first conference began in year 2005 and it has been held annually since.

The acronym of WHAT stand for Women’s Health and Asian Traditional Medicine

The conference focuses on Asian healthcare traditions used by generations of women to care for their families and their own health needs. The objective of this conference is to begin a process of ensuring the best of these traditions are preserved, promoted, evaluated and used as culturally appropriate strategies for meeting women’s healthcare needs in contemporary society.

The logo captures the map of Asia and the two herbs used in Asia for the health of women.

Crossword composer and writer on Kannada cinema- A.N.Prahlada Rao has worn both hats with élan. And while he was about it, Prahlada Rao has virtually created a new genre of literature on cinema trivia, as his magnum opus, “Bangarada Manushya” a biography of the late thespian Rajakumar, proved in 2005, when it milestoned the actor’s 50 years in cinema. When the actor died in 2006, “Bangarada Manushya” made brisk sales, scarce as the literature on the Kannada filmdom’s icon has been. A.N.Prahlada Rao, born in 1953 in Abbani village, Kolar district of Karnataka, demonstrated very early in life a penchant for wordplay, and gravitated naturally towards jobs in journalism- first as a reporter for Kolara Patrike in 1975, and edited another daily, “Honnudi” from Kolar. In 1983, he joined the State Information Department, and among other assignments, he was in the media section of the Chief Minister’s office, and in the News Section of the Information Department. In many ways, “Bangarada Manushya” is a milestone in Rao’s own journey across crossword grids, collecting trivia , adding to a bank of information that can become quite a nest egg of history. Over 23 years, Rao has composed more than 18,000 crosswords, and today, nearly every Kannada newspaper or magazine sports the puzzles created by him, on scores of themes, that celebrate cinema in a myriad ways. Every puzzle that he creates is a mosaic of information on the theme he chooses- not only in general- cinema, literature, crime, science, mythology, food, sport, and in the process, shown how learning Kannada and appreciating its culture can be a pleasurable experience. If dailies like Kannada Prabha, and Vijaya Karnataka sport the grid-and-clues school of Kannada every day, Weekly magazines like Karmaveera, Mangala, and the fortnightly Balamangala have Rao’s general knowledge quiz and puzzles. For Aragini and E Sanje, Rao composes film-based crossword puzzles. For a whole year, Managala Weekly carried Rao’s crosswords based on the theme of Kannada’s literary starr The Kannada University in Hampi has been using his specially custom-made puyzzles in its publication, Vignana Sangati for more than three years. Prajavani’s cinema supplement has been featuring his ”filmy” grids for more than 12 years. As for Aragini, Rao’s crosswords on film themes have been a regular feature for over 23 years. There really is no Kannada film journal worth its name that has not featured Rao’s puzzles at one time or another- Vijayachitra of the Chandamama publications , Udayaraga published out of Mumbai, Dehali Varte published from Delhi, Priyanka, Chitra, Rangavalli, Star, Cinema Makaranda…… Rao’s repertoire trespass into the genre of critique and analysis as well- its not all trivia.and pun- intended or otherwise. If “Bangarada Manyshya” is his magnum opus, the intervening years have been for Rao a time to follow the unfolding of drama of Kannada cinema- All the magazines that give him his grid never forget to invite him to write scholarly or informed articles in their special issues – Aragini featured his article on memorable movies, Karmaveera published “Gathavaibhava”, Mangala featured him on the series on cinema history- “chalanachitra itihasa”, and provided inputs for Karnataka University’s publication, “Kiriyara Karnataka (encyclopedia) and Cinema history, cinema articles also published in Sudha- popular kannada weekly, Roopatara- cinema monthly, Chitra- cinema monthly. “Bangarada Manushya” is not merely a biography on the greatest icon of Kannada cinema, it is the synthesis of the essence of Kannada cinema, tracked through the career of Rajkumar. The trivia and titbits that figure dominantly in Rao’s puzzles add colour and interest to the study of an absorbing subject – Rajkumar and Kannada cinema. His second book “Belliterey Belagidavaru” — nuggets profiling 115 filmstars who twinkled on the Kannada silver screen with a foreword by director Girish Kasaravalli, who is also profiled, “Belliterey Belagidavaru” offers a pleasant ride through Kannada cinema and the famous names that people it.

Fernando Ribeiro was bor n in Lisboa, Portugal, in the former maternity Magalhães Coutinho, in the year of 1974. He grew up in Brandoa. He studied Philosophy in Faculdade de Letras de Lisboa e he in the sings and writes the lyrics of the band Moonspell. He published his first poetry book in 2001, Como Escavar um Abismo, and the second, As Feridas Essenciais, in 2004. He wrote the introduction to Os Melhores Contos de Howard Phillips Lovecraft, edited in 2005, he translated the biography in comic Lovecraft to portuguese. He also writes to the portugues metal magazine LOUD!, in a column called The Eternal Spectator.

Who actually owns Major BBS/Worldgroup? It has been a subject of controversy for awhile now. It's pretty clear that Tim Stryker would not have wanted it to be this way. He had a vision of a greater future.

Instead, today, as Sysops and users, past and present (and possibly future) of Major BBS and Worldgroup systems, we would really like to know the real truth.

Major BBS got popular in the early to mid 1990s, as one of the fastest and most expensive bulletin boards around. Up to 256 modems could connect to a single computer, and internet access was easily attainable, as long as you could afford it.

What made it so popular in the first place? If we compare it to the internet today, there aren't many differences. You can do everything on the web that you could on a BBS system, and much much more, not to mention the graphical improvements. Downloading has gotten faster, as modem speeds got higher and broadband access got cheaper and more plentiful.

Before its end, major bbs was revised with a new name: Worldgroup. Worldgroup used much of the Major BBS source code, but its main feature was adding a GUI system. A visitor would download a windows client, and he or she could get an "aol-like" experience.

Worldgroup slowly crept toward its own independent BBS, leaving behind compatibility with almost all Major BBS modules and games. By version 3, they made a 16-bit windows version, of which no DOS modules were compatible at all. Games like Crossroads of the elements and many others would be left behind for good. Other games like mutants and trade wars 2002 were tried but too little too late. Their respected companies just didn't do enough bug-testing and fixing on them, and they were abandoned.

Still, many games were updated, most requiring an additional upgrade fee. MajorMud, Swords of Chaos, The Rose - Council of Guardians, etc.

But this article isn't about the timeline of major bbs nor worldgroup. It is about who actually owns the software. There are two individuals claiming ownership of Galacticomm and all of its assets:

Rick Hadshall (Elwynor Technologies, The Major BBS Restoration Project)

Nate Hammond (Netvillage, The Dogs Singing Group)

Nate Hammond and Worldgroupware's Don Barr have been selling Worldgroup for many years. Exactly how many copies of it has sold, we may never know, but one thing that striked me as odd was the fact that Nate nor Don actually has any way to register nor upgrade Major BBS systems. They claim that the registration software was lost years ago.

On the other hand, Rick Hadshall actually has a more up-to-date registration list and is able to register and upgrade major bbs software, because he obviously has the original galacticomm software to do so.

Both groups claim to have purchased gcomm assets from lenders.

Are all of the creditors paid off? Is there any one else claiming ownership we don't know about? If an opposing party owns the software that worldgroupware and netvillage has been selling for years, will that party be forced to compensate the opposing party for all of the (millions?!? of dollars in) sales if it were to go to court?

Will we ever know who actually owns Major BBS, Worldgroup, Galacticomm? With out a long court battle, likely not!

In the meantime, invite both parties to link to this wikipedia, to show proof of ownership, in the form of scanned sales receipts, signed contracts, and release of assets to each company. This fight has been going on long enough. Let's finish it once and for all!

With his writing partners Gene Moss, and brother Dave Thurman, he formed his own ad agency, Creative Advertising Stuff. Moss and the Thurman brothers scripted all 125 installments of the 1965 cartoon series Roger Ramjet as well as the puppet comedy series Shrimpenstein, where Thurman voiced the title character.

Plot

Johnny Makeover Johnny's show is requested to have a makeover by the hosts of a TV series, Cartoon Makeover. Johnny goes with the changes, which include new outfits and robot neighbor. The changes end up with poor results. Back on Shaq When flirting with a girl at basketball player Shaq's big game, Johnny accedently bumps into Shaq (who's having a bad luck streak). Right when Johnny hits Shaq, Shaq makes the basket. He finds out Johny is good luck and straps him on his back. Then one player straps his new charm on his back to compete. When Johnny has to use the bathroom, Shaq shoots the basket, despite Johnny's absence. He makes the shot and decides he no longer needs Johnny to win.

The Simpsons was parodied twice in this episode, both times in Johnny Makeover. 1. When Johnny was getting new hairdos, one was the blue beahive hairdo worn by Marge Simpson. 2. When the hosts of the makeover show say the robot can turn to a nerdy religous family man, it impersonate Ned Flanders
Kimmy Gibbler from Full House is also impersonated by the robot, and her name is even said. The Blue Falcon says, or Kimmmy Gibbler from 'Full House.

Gaming, trivia, chat, e-mail, message boards, and eventually IRC were some of the things that really made many systems stand out. Trade Wars 2002, Mutants, Crossroads of the Elements, Farwest Trivia, and various other games were very popular. If we compare this bbs and these games to many of the other types of bbs systems around back in the 90s (Synchronet, Pcboard, WWIV) - one of the things you may notice is the speed difference. Major BBS was made to be a multi-line, multi-tasking system, while other bbs systems just "supported" it, usually using very complicated or expensive means (using multiple computers or dos multitaskers) of getting the job done. Using a multitasker in DOS was not only hard to setup, but it could cause some major performance decreases, making a bbs run more slowly, and on many occasions, would require the sysop to upgrade the RAM in that PC.

Unsubstantiated Claims/Rumors

There were rumors going around the net that one group (we won't mention) actually broke in to gcomm's headquarters after the bankruptcy and stole as much software, informational files, and source code as possible, before the bank could collect all of it up. Some people said they actually planned to do sort of a Robin Hood with it: make it better, cheaper or even free, for the BBS community, but that never happened.

Educated at University College School, London and at Bryanston School, Blandford, Dorset. 1960 Entered film industry as 3rd assistant editor at Shepperton Studios and worked on Kubrick’s ‘Spartacus’, Lewis Gilbert’s ‘Greengage Summer’ and John Schlesinger’s ‘A Kind of Loving’ amongst others, for editors including Peter Hunt and Reggie Beck. Worked as editor for Anglia TV ‘Survival’ and Granada TV ‘World in Action.

1966 Established Maya Films with James Scott, Adam Barker-Mill and Andrew St. John. Produced and edited ‘Love’s Presentation’, a 30 min. documentary on the work of David Hockney, directed by James Scott. Produced and directed ‘St Christopher’ a 45 min. documentary on children in the care of Rudolf Steiner Schools and the Camphill Village Trust, Botton, Yorkshire. Wrote, produced and directed ‘The War’, a cinema short starring Colin Welland and Eric Burden. (15 min. B&W 35mm Panavision). Wrote and directed ‘Everybody’s an Actor, Shakespeare Said’, a documentary on the work of Joan Littlewood with young people in the East End of London. (35 min. 16mm Eastmancolor).

1969 Wrote and directed ‘Bronco Bullfrog’ with young people from the East End. (83 min. 35mm B&W) Selectione a l’Unanimite pour Semain de la Critique, Festival de Cannes. Screenwriter’s Guild award for Best Original Screenplay.

1970 Wrote and directed 'Private Road' (86 min 35mm Eastmancolor) starring Bruce Robinson, Susan Penhaligon and Michael Feast. Awarded Golden Leopard at Locarno Festival for Best Film.

1972 Governor and Honorary Life Member of British Film Institute and Director of Prodigal Trust, Inner London School's video project. Took piano lessons with Trevor Fisher.

1976 Wrote screenplay 'Double Trouble' published as a novel by Duckworth.

1977 Wrote screenplays for 'The Scotsman' and 'Hero'. After two years preparation directed 'Hero' (82 min 16mm Eastmancolor) for Film Four in ancient Gaelic with actors drawn from a Glasgow youth gang. Official entry Venice Film Festival.

1983 Wrote screenplay for 'Ebb Tide' by Robert Louis Stevenson, to be filmed for Film Four in Sri Lanka starring Harry Dean Stanton and Christopher Lee. Project abandoned when war broke out in that country.

1984 - 88 Resident in Sussex with his two young children, Roland and Ruby.

1989 Wrote and directed 'Blasphemy' for Channel Four 'Despatches'.

1990 Worked in The Special Unit, HMP Barlinnie, Glasgow on various projects including a musical to be staged by prisoners in the jail and the first ever performance by a circus ('Arkaos) in a British Jail. Edited John Steele's 'The Bird that Never Flew' an extraordinary autobiography of a prison 'trouble maker' published by Sinclair-Stevenson in

1993 Advisor to development of Wornington Green Resident's Association Video Project for disadvantaged youth.

1994 Set up and supervised first year of North Kensington Video Drama Project including work for Metropolitan Police 'Scam' scheme and the Youth Enterprise Scheme.

1995 Together with students from the N.K.V.D.P. established Massive Videos at North Kensington Community Centre and worked on the development of Courttia Newland's 'The Scholar'.

1996 - 99 Massive Videos made many short films by and about disadvantaged young people and founded the Portobello Film and video Festival. In Liverpool they established the 'Workhaus' project in a five story building in the city centre and the North X Northwest Film Festival.

2000 Went to Morocco. Lived for a year on a farm near Larache.. Wrote screenplay for 'Lovesways'.

2004 Built house in Mejlaou near Assilah and wrote screenplay for 'Looking for Tomorrow'.

Niedermaier, Inc. is a Chicago-based visual merchandising, display, and furniture company. It was founded in the mid-1960s as an artistic print shop. It has a showroom in the D & D building in New York City and in the Merchandise Mart in Chicago. Its president is Judy Niedermaier. Notable contributing designers are Nate Berkus, Vicente Wolf, Mark Demsky, Carlos Martinez, Luke Wong and Powel-Kleinschmidt. Niedermaier was the company that built the couches for the Oprah Winfrey Show and has provided furniture and displays in various movies including My Super Ex-Girlfriend and Ocean's 13. They have created displays for numerous retail stores, etc. including Nordstrom and Bloomindale's

Francis Menotti was born Francis Phelan in 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA in 1938.^[1]

Phelan studied at the Goodman Theater in Chicago, and with Lee Strasberg in New York, and participated in the American Shakespeare Festival.^[2]

In the mid-1960s, the noted composer Gian Carlo Menotti began working frequently with Phelan, then a young actor and figure skater. Phelan began to appear in many of Gian Carlo Menotti's performances. He appeared as a mime in such Menotti operas as The Medium, The Saint of Bleecker Street and The Egg.^[3] The two developed a relationship, and in 1974, Gian Carlo Menotti legally adopted Phelan, whom he called "Chip," as his legal son^[4]. Francis Phelan took the last name of Menotti.

On August 24, 1985, Francis Menotti married Malinda Fitler Murphy, the youngest daughter of and Dr. James S. Murphy and Margaretta Fitler Murphy. In 1963, Margaretta Fitler Murphy divorced Dr. Murphy and, one month later, married then-Governor Nelson A. Rockefeller, who became Vice President in 1974. The ceremony was held at Gian Carlo Menotti's home called Yester House in Scotland.^[5] Gian Carlo gave Francis and Malinda Yester House, a historic 100-room castle, as a wedding present.^[6] With Malinda, Francis Menotti had two children, Claudio and Cosimo. Gian Carlo, Francis, Malinda and their children all lived together in Yester House. Malinda Menotti died suddenly on 24 October, 2005.^[7]

Francis is currently best known for his involvement with the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Italy which his father Gian Carlo founded in 1958. As his father aged, Francis became more and more involved in the running of the Festival. Francis eventually came to hold the title of Artistic Director of the Festival in 1999^[8], and also acquired the title of Festival President. However, the love that the organizations that put on the Festival (such as the City of Spoleto and the Festival Foundation) had for Gian Carlo did not transfer to Francis. Tensions arose between the Menotti family and these organizations, and private and corporate funding and attendance at the Spoleto Festival have declined significantly under the leadership of Francis.^[9] In his will, Gian Carlo bequeathed the Festival to Francis; however, immediately after the death of Gian Carlo in February of 2007, when full ownership was acquired by Francis, efforts to ouster Francis from the positions of President and Artistic Director became explicit and forceful.^[10]

Mission

iMentor's mission is to improve the lives of young people from underserved communities in New York City through technology-based approaches to youth mentoring and education. iMentor uses mentoring to bridge the divide between New York City’s diverse communities so that mentees are equipped with the skills and resources critical for (1) personal, (2) academic, and (3) career success.

iMentor demonstrates that (1) even the busiest New Yorkers have time to be quality mentors and that (2) formal mentoring programs can flourish in NYC's most isolated, low-income, and underserved communities. iMentor uses mentoring to bridge the divide between New York City's eclectic communities, creating unique and dynamic relationships that would not have been possible without the program. By exposing both mentors and mentees to new facets of their shared city, iMentor makes and facilitates meaningful connections, empowering youth with the skills and resources critical for personal, academic and career success.

Origins - History

iMentor was founded in 1999 by hedge-fund manager John Griffin (Blue Ridge Capital), and two civil rights attorneys, Rich Buery and Matt Klein. The program began with 49 students in one school in the South Bronx. In just over seven years of operation, iMentor has provided mentors to more than 2,000 young people from over 30 NYC schools and after school programs. This year, iMentor will connect 700 high school-aged youth (mentees) one-to-one with volunteer adult mentors. Every mentor-mentee pair cultivates their relationship using iMentor's combination of weekly email correspondence and regular in-person meetings.

iMentor was created to solve two major problems faced by young people in under-served communities:

• Lack of mentors

• Lack of technology literacy

Millions of youth nationwide are in need of mentors and do not have them. In addition, schools and after school programs serving under-resourced communities struggle to develop strategies for using computers and the Internet as effective educational tools. Educators need training and support in using technology to improve the lives of their students. iMentor’s strategies address both problems.

96% of mentees feel that their mentor is someone they can trust and depend on.

88% of mentees felt that being involved with iMentor made them more confident interacting with adults, meeting new people and interacting in new environments.

88% of mentees said that iMentor introduced them to opportunities and experiences that they wouldn’t otherwise have access to.

85% of mentees felt that being involved with iMentor has made them a better student.

Adam Allen is son of Douglas Allen and Yolanda (deLeon)Allen. He was born on the first day of April in 1980. His father Douglas is a notable artist in the Great Salt Lake Valley, he has art work in several local exbits and his artwork is also featured in the Chicago Art Mesuem. Yolanda Allen has work as a Homemaker and Pharmisist for the past 26 years. Adam Allen is the third of four children (two older brothers and one younger sister)

The North American Communist Party, also known simply as the NACP is an emerging political party started with members from Washington, Georgia Texas, and Califorinia. The head of the party at this time is Lord Edward from Seattle Washington. The aim of this party is to bring true communism into the light of everyday political discussions, as well as lift the veil,and stigma that has been placed upon it since the Soviet era. This group focuses on the Marxist-lennist view of politics, and hopes to expand and grow within the near future.

The name "Anika" is German, Dutch, or Danish and is the pet name of "Anna", meaning gracious or merciful. Not to be confused with the much more common "Annika", Anika is pronounced with a soft "a" at the beginning, sounding like "AH-nih-kuh" rather than "AA-nih-kuh". (Annika is Dutch, Swedish or Finnish, and has the same meaning as Anika does). Anika is related to Anja, Anya, Anita, Anna, Annika, and Anne. Other sources note that Anika means literally "little Anne", because the suffix "-ika" in many Scandinavian languages means "little" (much like "-ito/a" in Spanish).
