Vanessa Hudgens is in a relationship with fellow actor Austin Butler. They have been dating since September 2011 due to staring in a movie together. This then increased their fan base together as many opportunities came about in their career. There is many speculations of this young couple becoming engaged, however all these are just a simple rumour and the couple is still dating. Breakup date wrong

Breakup with Austin Butler was only announced in January 2020; the source makes it clear said announcement came at least one month after the fact. The year needs to be corrected, both in the infobox and the personal life section. Strangerthings7112 (talk) 01:09, 15 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

It's an appropriate estimate; we cannot (and I would hope not) know the exact actual date and time of the breakup, and there's always the holiday bubble where news that would usually come out on time doesn't. And also it was a 'source said' and social media snooping estimate to begin with, so really it's none of our business when the actual breakup happened for the purposes of a date. The estimate is wrong though. Per US Weekly, he was "noticeably absent" from her birthday bash in mid-December, as well as the subsequent holiday festivities, not to mention they hadn't been photographed together since October. Partner

I see in the "Personal Life" section, all her previous "partners" have been mentioned, starting with Zac Efron & ending with Cole Tucker.

Now, I'm wondering why we've chosen to mention "Austin Butler" in the infobox like that... Does the word "Partner" there mean "Boyfriend"? And if it does, why is he the only person mentioned there (why not Zac Efron)? I don't think it is right for that to appear right under "Spouse"...

I suggest simply removing "partner" from there. Anybody who wants to know about her entire relationship history can scroll down to the section where "all the names" are mentioned; only the Spouse should show in the Infobox. GeographicAccountant (talk) 09:00, 9 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Misleading Phrase in 'Career' Section

There is a quote in the Career section that reads "Philip French of The Guardian compared her acting to Thandie Newton and Dorothy Parker" regarding the film Bandslam. This is misleading as the article referenced here actually compares Hudgens' physical appearance to Thandie Newton and her character's dialogue to Dorothy Parker.
