Hi, I'm new to this but is the sentence 'Scott is a Lesbian' encyclopaedic? For example Bobby Charlton's entry does not say 'Charlton is heterosexual.' [[User:GBR1961|GBR1961]] ([[User talk:GBR1961|talk]]) 14:47, 3 August 2022 (UTC)

Absolutely correct. I remove it wherever it's unnecessary.

:Many editors have a different view, and just from a V point of view, if there's going to be categories mentioning her sexuality, it should be sourced in the article text. On notability grounds, if Charlton or anyone else heterosexual discussed it enough in sources, the fact it did not just go unsaid would make it notable - like with the identities of queer people. There's a difference between normalising queer identities and erasing them. Be careful which you're doing in your mass removals.
