==Early years==
Maxx Frank was born Clarence N. Frank on June 25, 1966 in Hammond, Indiana. He is the son of a 6th grade school teacher and Marine/Pastor. Maxx began playing the piano at the age of 3 years old and by the age of 12 was the main organist at his father's church.
==Musical career==
Maxx began his professional career with ‘The Winans’ a famous gospel group that performed in the early 80’s (84-89). Later he joined the gospel group [[Commissioned (gospel group)|Commissioned]].
