Bobbi has worked for, among others, [[Red Light District]], [[Belladonna]] and Combat Zone. Bobbi considers herself a pro-porn feminist. She doesn't find porn degrading to women because they are in control and an activity in which women are in control can't be degrading to women. She has performed in scenes which are degrading to the characters she plays, like for [[Evil Empire]], such as a rape scene with [[Brandon Iron]] where after being anally raped Bobbi said 'it was fucking hot'. This somewhat disturbing scene shows the possibility of excitement of submissive sex, maybe referring to the [[rape fantasy]] some women have.

Bobbi Starr (born 1983) is an American former pornographic actress. She won the AVN Award for Female Performer of the Year in 2012.

Early life and education

Starr expressed an ambition to study pre-med with the aim of becoming a gynecologist. Her intent was to work within the adult entertainment industry, where she identified a lack of female gynecologists.[2][3] She attended San Jose State University, where she graduated with a degree in music.

Starr was named by CNBC as one of the 12 most popular pornographic film actresses in 2011[4] and 2013.[5] Starr has directed films for adult film distributor Evil Angel, beginning with Bobbi's World (2011), a female POV movie.[6]
