Whilst there he helped galaxy acheive a good record of attracting large audiences he also grew the station to market leadership in three yearsmaking it becomethe largest radio station outside London. He also built an excellent research call-centre. He then became Managing Director of Galaxy 102.2, Birmingham.

There he successfully integrated the old Choice FM into Chrysalis wentfrom the company loss making to £1m profit in the last year and Weekly audience reach grew from 8% to 20% 1998-2005.
