==Participants==

The [[fete]] aims to put an alternative spin on the traditional English village [[fete]] and features stalls from both established names and newcomers in the UK's creative industries, in particular from the fields of [[Graphic Design]] and [[Fashion]].

According to an article in industry title Design Week, "the aim of the line-up is to provide a current snapshot of contemporary design, looking at both practices and individuals".

Confirmed participants for 2008 include jewellery designers [[Tatty Devine]], [[Poke London]], [[Graphic Thought Facility]], [[Fever Zine]] and graphic designer [[Daniel Eatock]].

The event is held in the V&A's [[John Madejski]] Gardens and runs over two days.

2008's fete, in partnership with fashion brand [[French Connection (clothing)|French Connection]], will be held on 25th and 26th of July.
