::It's really been so long since I've been to the park, I really don't know. If Bresnahan's number is still on the wall, that would be good. Historical marker, a pic of the roof from the inside of the park, to show what it looks like and looked like in the past. I don't think this has changed to much. I know that the exterior is very different. Thanks and good night. Dincher (talk) 02:46, 15 August 2008 (UTC) |

I started Williamsport Tomahawks tonight. There just isn't enough there or available for a DYK. I do remember getting a Ron Hassey card when I was really young and being thrilled that Williamsport was on the back of the card. On another topic, I wanted to mention that I used the autoformatting undo script favored by User:Tony1 on Balch Creek as a test case. It removed the autoformatting from the main text, infobox, and tables OK, but it doesn't change the autoformatting in the citations. For the sake of consistency, I unformatted the citations by hand but put the "accessdate" information outside the cite template, which seemed to yield either a blue link for dates it could autoformat (2008-05-12) or a red link for dates it couldn't handle (May 12, 2008). However, it turns out that substituting "accessdaymonth" and "accessyear" for "accessdate" in the template achieves the same end, no autoformatting. I'm telling you this in case you ever want to try it (if you haven't already). I have not taken part in the pro-con arguments about autoformatting, but I want to be ready to jump in either direction. Of course I can review Leonard Harrison. I'm bored and have got nothing to do today. I also sort of ran across your note to Ben MacDui. I noticed the bagpipes too. The BBC has an article that sort of explains. --[[User:Dtbohrer|< |

I don't think I remembered to say at FAC how much I like Leonard Harrison State Park. I was sure it was FA and wished that my FAs could be as good. I admit to strong bias in favor of Pine Creek and its environs, which I know very well and, dare I say, pine for. Regarding the hyphens, Tony is right. I used the same awkward hyphenation in the first sentence of three of my creek leads, and I have now changed them all. Hyphens and comma splices are what I eat for breakfast, by the way. Very good with nonfat soy milk. Finetooth (talk) 17:06, 18 August 2008 (UTC) |

== Dot-On maps == |
|||
Relative accuracy depends on what one is looking for, for Commons:Category:Locator maps of cities in Ohio versus Commons:Image:Ohio Locator Map with US.PNG (both original come from the US Census bureau but obviously are visually different): |
|||
# Which Map projection was used for the "dot-on" maps? The original source maps in http://www2.census.gov/geo/maps/general_ref/cousub_outline/cen2k_pgsz/oh_cosub.pdf and correspondingly http://www2.census.gov/geo/maps/general_ref/cousub_outline/cen2k_pgsz/ for the other states are seriously "flawed" map projections only intended to depict county boundaries and not be "maps" in a geographic sense. Ohio's Eastern-Pennsylvania and Western-Indiana borders are relatively-true North-South surveyed lines (defined by treaties), so there should not be a visible curves or slants to those borders - which there are on the "dot-on" maps. Guessing that the "dot-on" map projection used was an "equal area" or similar projection? resulting in a narrower top and a wider bottom. Location map uses Equirectangular projection a.k.a. equidistant cylindrical projection or geographic projection, which is more commonly used for computer screen and printer map images, it visually preserves vertical North-South and horizontal East-West lines and North-South distances at the "expense" of horizontal distances are going to be a little off (probably about 1-5% for Ohio). Most people can easily visually see that a line is not "perfectly" vertical or horizontal (off by 1-5%) on a 200-300 pixel image, where they are not likely to be able to visually see or measure a horizontal distance which is off by 1% to 5% on a 200-300 pixel image. |
|||
# I am not sure how to find them in the Commons: deletion logs? but I had noticed in my Commons: watchlist from time to time where dot-on maps had been deleted as being duplicates of maps with completely different names, and I had noticed articles which used a dot-on map with a different name other than the article name - again not sure about a good way to look for them. Where the corresponding dot-on markers should have been more than a few pixels apart - for both type of cases. |
|||
# Then it gets to how "picky" one wants to get with the individual dot locations, yes, most are in the "general" area of where they should be. The ones which are more obviously off are usually near some border, either they might be touching it when they should not be, or they might not be touching it when they should be, or they might be on the "wrong side" of a border. For the rest it gets down to how picky one wants to be counting pixels and measuring distances. My point is that the overall dot-on.png process is "flawed". If Census data is going to be relied on to generate static map files, a better method would be to read Census "cartographic boundary" files http://www.census.gov/geo/www/cob/ and use them to generate corresponding .svg files. (rather than copying from a Census .PDF document containing questionable map projections). The Location/pushpin map provides a much better process - 1 accurate background map and template per State or County and accurate coordinates per plotted mark - as opposed to creating an image map file for each and every individual possible plotted mark (the 1,409 individual 10+ K Ohio image map files versus the single map image file used by Location map USA Ohio). |
|||
# For instance, starting with Commons:Image:OHMap-doton-Athens.png, according to the Census PDF cited above, page 13 of 19, the Athens dot is either not far enough South (if you consider where the greatest portion of the overall "Athens" outline shape is) or not far enough West (if you consider where the "Athens" arrow points to). |
|||
# "Bad" dot-on maps are more obvious when: Populated Place coordinates are obtained from GNIS and verified (that the coordinates align with the proper place on map/topographic and aerial/satellite map services like Google Maps) and then the pushpin map is enabled in the Infobox settlement, usually it is then reasonably obvious which dot-on.png image files are flawed when they have the dot-on in a slightly different spot than the pushpin map. |

::Yes, I am aware of the some of the variation with the current Location map templates - how Cascading Style Sheet and browser variation can affect them by the differences in "border, margin, and padding". There is a request for Polar maps which I am working on, the current Wiki map offerings do not work well at either the North or South Pole and there are a lot of Antarctica-related Wikipedia articles. So I am basing Polar map templates on how the current Location map templates are structured, but trying to fix some of the issues/problems, I should be able to get the Polar map templates more "stable" than the current Location maps with regard to the few pixel differences due to border, margin, padding settings. Depending on what I end up with, I might revisit the Location map templates if I can introduce the modifications there or merge the two sets into one set which will handle both. |
|||
::What is the process when a dot-on location map is "obviously off the mark" - dot on the "wrong" side of a border, on the wrong island, ... ? I would prefer to see an accurate county background map created (for each county - showing townships or other civil boundaries) so that it is reusable rather than spending resources on "one-offs". LeheckaG (talk) 16:13, 24 August 2008 (UTC) |
|||
:::I have not "made" any maps for Wiki, working on refining my SVG skills before I do so. |
|||
*I would start off with http://www.census.gov/geo/www/cob/ which are the "most accurate" of what the U.S. Census makes publicly available - even those are reportedly stripped of some coordinate details when the U.S. census claims it has more detail available internally. |
|||
*I would make a generic reusable background map at a County or Township level, and then make a boundary outline overlay for particular features, so that a boundary for a feature is available rather than a "dot" marker. |
|||
*The U.S. Census Bureau publishes a whole bunch of disclaimers regarding their cartographic accuracy (or inaccuracy), so I would try to verify reported boundaries with a State or County government i.e. either County Recorder's (or Auditor/Treasurer) official records or municipal articles of incorporation usually on-file with a Secretary of State. There are some cases, where one actually needs to go back to federal government agencies rather than State or County records. Sorry I haven't responded to comments, yet today I am actually heading there now. It might seem like a monumental task trying to make this a FA, and I feel kind of silly that I nominated it without looking at other examples first but I might be able to pull it off. I am aware, on how to make this look better to the reviewers and I have vast knowledge in bringing articles up to par. I have Experience being, coordinator of assesment at WP:AVIATION, so I do hope to find a way to make the article more atractive to assessers at FAC. -Marcusmax (talk) 00:37, 25 August 2008 (UTC) |

:I am about to sound real stupid, but you have a point after reading through Black Moshannon State Park I understand the task of making this article an FA while in FAC is to large. I think the FAC should be closed, so I can invest some long term work into this article and so FAC's resources aren't being used up. Thanks for your comments on the above at FAC - and for fixing the convert template (I learn something new every day). I have improved the article greatly since I requested a peer review on August 19, and I was wondering if you could take a second look at it if you had the time. As you seem to be a completely disinterested party would you mind reading through the whole article and seeing what is wrong with the article. The talk page for this topic doesn't work as it becomes a mob, edit war and flame wars ensue and nothing is achieved. A prime example is when discussing the word fascism it basically turns into anyone who wants it removed is a racist. This is a ridiculous state of affairs and the article is full of Bias POV and ideological rubbish. A prime example of this is The Guardian's infiltration section, Please can you take a thorough look at this or pass it in to someone who will, as this is out of control.--Lucy-marie (talk) 12:22, 31 August 2008 (UTC) |

You probably noticed that I am starting to work on Bowman Field. There is some interesting stuff to add. It used to be huge! I hesitate about weighing in on other FACs while we have one up. I don't want to seem like I am trying to curry favor by supporting another and I don't want to step on any toes. I think the only FAC I opposed was Hillary Clinton. That article was just too fluid at the time. Another problem I have is I just can't read something I am not interested in reading. So I guess I shouldn't complain. I am sure that there are people who don't care to read about a state park in Tioga County. Dincher (talk) 23:09, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

Fanno PR, autoformats
I always appreciate your input. On the other hand, I see that you are extremely busy, and I don't want to make more work for you. So, how should I put this? I won't be disappointed if you don't comment, but if you do comment, I will take your suggestions seriously.
Do you think we should place the history section first? History is first at Black Mo and Presque Isle, but not World's End. I do think that it's fine as is, but I can live with it either way. We could always wait for PR or FAC to do this. Dincher (talk) 22:59, 4 August 2008 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me. Getting Colton Point, the gorge and the creek up to FA status should be easier after, hopefully, getting this up to FA. I was just looking at Ohiopyle State Park, it along with Oil Creek State Park should also be easy to get to FA, lots of pics and interesting histories. I am sure the recreation section of Oil Creek can be expanded. Dincher (talk) 01:24, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- We can tag team Pine Creek if you want. I should be able to help with history, ecology, etc. Don't know if I'll be much help with the course and that type stuff. Well good night. Dincher (talk) 02:27, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
I think I replied to all of the latest stuff at Leonard Harrison. Lots of good finds. Also Amd194 is getting more active and is seeking help at Ronneburg, Hesse, in case you don't have enough to do! Dincher (talk) 22:26, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- I just uploaded a pic of Leonard Harrison on the commons side. Dincher (talk) 22:38, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- Oops. I turns out that was a mistake. It's now uploaded to wikipedia. I think the rationale needs some tweaking. Dincher (talk) 22:59, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for fixing the Harrison template. I like the brownish pic better than the blue. Thanks for checking out the German Castle too. Dincher (talk) 01:54, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- The expanded lead looks good. I will check all of it closer in a bit when I get to work. Dincher (talk) 19:49, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- I am in the middle of reading through it now. It looks very good. You've added lots of good stuff. I specified what Tiagdahton (sp?) was and fixed a spelling error. So far it looks great!
- The plans sound good. I think reorganizing it will be good too. I posted some thoughts about the trees on the talk page. Dincher (talk) 22:46, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for getting the nomination in. The new "old" pics look good. Dincher (talk) 01:36, 9 August 2008 (UTC)
- I really like the log raft pic. I've seen the one of the man in the stumps before. Dincher (talk) 01:48, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

I think that Leonard is ready for FAC. My schedule at work is full this week, meaning I'll have lots of time to address any issues. Are you ready to go forward? Dincher (talk) 21:31, 11 August 2008 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me. I will be working on the Williamsport baseball articles over the next few days. There is some, but not much good stuff in the Williamsport baseball book by Hunsinger. Dincher (talk) 00:47, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
Leonard Harrison State Park has been nominated. I didn't see any new news on your or Moni's talk page. I am going to let her know that I moved it to FAC and any comments etc, would be greatly appreciated. Could you check and make sure I followed all the required steps. I think I did it right. Dincher (talk) 22:26, 12 August 2008 (UTC)
- Sure. I'll add a bit about the model articles. I forgot about this. Wikiwords like transclude leave be befuddled. I am glad you fixed it! Have a good one. (We've had Drama Mama drama at the old homestead tonight, ugh.) Dincher (talk) 03:14, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- If I was a Drama Mama I would've said that you added the modeled bit to be mean and to hurt my feelings! But I am not, thanks for getting it! I hope this one goes well. Good night again. Dincher (talk) 03:17, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
- I know. I like having thick skin. Old Lenny is all yours. Dincher (talk) 03:23, 13 August 2008 (UTC)

I knew that pachyderm's had thick skin but I didn't know that it literally meant think skin. Good luck emailing the park and getting an answer. Have a good day. Dincher (talk) 10:36, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
No problem. I am going to start working on the Williamsport baseball articles tonight. Did you start Leonard Harrison yet? I can't do anywork on it because of the limits on the computers at work. Dincher (talk) 22:28, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
It is just me or is the FAC very slow? I've look briefly at some of the other FAC's and there isn't much support for any of them. Just lots and lots of comments. Has the system been changed or we just dealing with summertime doldrums? Dincher (talk) 22:41, 14 August 2008 (UTC)
- It's cool that we made FA again. Thanks for the great co-operative work. Dincher (talk) 15:34, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
When I look at Leonard Harrison State Park now it loads up the picture in the info box loads HUGE. Does it look okay for you? Dincher (talk) 00:41, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- It's still huge. I am at work now. I'll look when I get home. I imagine that it will be okay. Tweak if you wish. Dincher (talk) 01:27, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
The Lenny pics look fine from home. I will look at work tomorrow. Dincher (talk) 19:47, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- I'll look if I remember. Somebody snuck his way into another picture. This time in Roseville. Kind of like Where's Waldo on wiki. Dincher (talk) 20:10, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
Hello Ruhrfisch, was wondering if I could ask you for a massive favour and have a look at India House. Its been through a c/e, and I thoguht it's ready for a renom (one or two images to add). About the peer review
Hi. I want to thank for all your comments regarding my lists (List of number-one Billboard Top Latin Albums of 2000 and List of number-one Billboard Top Latin Albums of 2001). Now I want to know if you have something else to add about them. I just sent again the list for 1999 to the FL.
Thanks again, Jaespinoza (talk) 07:35, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Of course I can review Leonard Harrison. I'm bored and have got nothing to do today. I also sort of ran across your note to Ben MacDui. I noticed the bagpipes too. The BBC has an article that sort of explains. --D.B.talk•contribs 16:28, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Gulen
hi. i think i gradually was able to make quite some modification in the directions you suggested. i do not know much about GNU license, copyright of the images, etc. i do not know how to upload a file and put it to the article page either. i was wondering if it would be possible for you to help me with that. i emailed his official website to upload some pictures of Gulen, but got no answer yet. so, i would appreciate if you can upload some pictures of him and put to the article page: Fethullah Gulen. Some of the pictures i think is important and would prefer to post on the article page can be found here: http://tr.fgulen.com/content/view/12079/14/, http://tr.fgulen.com/content/view/12077/14/. thanks in advance... Orphaned non-free media (Image:Wellsboro_and_Corning_Railroad_Herald.gif)
Thanks for uploading Image:Wellsboro_and_Corning_Railroad_Herald.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Algonquian/Iroquoian place names
Thanks very much for your attention--Pennsylvania is difficult to categorize because of the two language groups found there. User:CJLippert is more of an expert on Algonquian languages (specifically Ojibwe) and he can usually figure out the meanings of place names even if he doesn't speak all the languages. I'm just helping out because I'm fascinated by the dichotomy in U.S. society of a basic willful ignorance of Native Americans and their culture, and at the same time we're blanketed by names of places, animals, etc. from them (seeing as they've lived here for over 10 thousand years, that seems quite natural)! :) I should think the etymologies should be added directly to each river article (if well sourced) so there's no confusion in the future. I managed to get a couple of photos released which should be enough to satisfy the images requirement. If you think it's ready I'll nominate it promptly. Oh, and I was looking around - would it be the first track and field bio FA? I particularly relish the irony of this article being promoted during the Beijing Olympics! Thanks. I've solved the last problem, I think. I added two much-needed paragraphs to the History section and a new paragraph to the Pollution section. Otherwise, the article, with the possible exception of nearly invisible tweaks, is unchanged since you last saw it. If you have a chance to look at it again, that would be great. Absolutely no hurry, though. Many other things to do, as always. Finetooth (talk) 19:27, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Congratulations
I don't think I remembered to say at FAC how much I like Leonard Harrison State Park. I was sure it was FA and wished that my FAs could be as good. I admit to strong bias in favor of Pine Creek and its environs, which I know very well and, dare I say, pine for. Regarding the hyphens, Tony is right. I used the same awkward hyphenation in the first sentence of three of my creek leads, and I have now changed them all. Hyphens and comma splices are what I eat for breakfast, by the way. Very good with nonfat soy milk. Finetooth (talk) 17:06, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

Dot-On maps
Relative accuracy depends on what one is looking for, for Commons:Category:Locator maps of cities in Ohio versus Commons:Image:Ohio Locator Map with US.PNG (both original come from the US Census bureau but obviously are visually different):
- Which Map projection was used for the "dot-on" maps?
- I am not sure how to find them in the Commons: deletion logs? but I had noticed in my Commons: watchlist from time to time where dot-on maps had been deleted as being duplicates of maps with completely different names, and I had noticed articles which used a dot-on map with a different name other than the article name - again not sure about a good way to look for them. Where the corresponding dot-on markers should have been more than a few pixels apart - for both type of cases.
- Then it gets to how "picky" one wants to get with the individual dot locations, yes, most are in the "general" area of where they should be.
- For instance, starting with Commons:Image:OHMap-doton-Athens.png, according to the Census PDF cited above, page 13 of 19, the Athens dot is either not far enough South (if you consider where the greatest portion of the overall "Athens" outline shape is) or not far enough West (if you consider where the "Athens" arrow points to).
- "Bad" dot-on maps are more obvious when: Populated Place coordinates are obtained from GNIS and verified (that the coordinates align with the proper place on map/topographic and aerial/satellite map services like Google Maps) and then the pushpin map is enabled in the Infobox settlement, usually it is then reasonably obvious which dot-on.png image files are flawed when they have the dot-on in a slightly different spot than the pushpin map.
LeheckaG (talk) 19:47, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I am aware of the some of the variation with the current Location map templates - how Cascading Style Sheet and browser variation can affect them by the differences in "border, margin, and padding".
- What is the process when a dot-on location map is "obviously off the mark" - dot on the "wrong" side of a border, on the wrong island, ... ? I would prefer to see an accurate county background map created (for each county - showing townships or other civil boundaries) so that it is reusable rather than spending resources on "one-offs". LeheckaG (talk) 16:13, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
- I have not "made" any maps for Wiki, working on refining my SVG skills before I do so.
- I would start off with http://www.census.gov/geo/www/cob/ which are the "most accurate" of what the U.S. Census makes publicly available - even those are reportedly stripped of some coordinate details when the U.S. census claims it has more detail available internally.
- I would make a generic reusable background map at a County or Township level, and then make a boundary outline overlay for particular features, so that a boundary for a feature is available rather than a "dot" marker.
- The U.S. LeheckaG (talk) 05:32, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
State park pics
I looked at Black Moshannon and Worlds End and both load just fine. Leonard Harrison loads just fine too. I think it may have been a one time glitch. I think I'll work on Colton Point tonight. Forgot to bring the baseball book in from the truck. Dincher (talk) 21:57, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for taking the trip to Colton Point. I had a feeling you were there today. I am looking forward to seeing them. They were needed. Dincher (talk) 01:30, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
- I really like the new pic in the info box at Colton Point. The others are all quite nice too. I agree with you regarding the old pics. They should all be different from Leonard Harrison. They are just place holders for now. Have a good day. I won't be on much today. Dincher (talk) 17:00, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
Are you still planning on getting a bridge up to FA first? I will work on the Historic Landmark parts of Colton Point on Friday night unless you want to do it sooner. Dincher (talk) 00:42, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Just on briefly before work, transportation plans have changed, one of the drama mama's goes in for morning tutoring and it's too far for a little one to walk so early in the morning. The plans sound good to me. I think we could move the location bits to the Nearby state parks section. Just leave state and nation in the lead sentence, I think would work. Have fun today. Dincher (talk) 10:47, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Do you think we should leave the county in the lead? Anyway, I'll wait to see what you have come up with. --Dincher (talk) 10:48, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
I had hoped to get a new article out of the historic district at Colton Point, but I don't see it. I added some more info, take a look please. Dincher (talk) 23:10, 29 August 2008 (UTC)
RE: White Pines Forest State Park FAC
Sorry I haven't responded to comments, yet today I am actually heading there now. It might seem like a monumental task trying to make this a FA, and I feel kind of silly that I nominated it without looking at other examples first but I might be able to pull it off. I am aware, on how to make this look better to the reviewers and I have vast knowledge in bringing articles up to par. I have Experience being, coordinator of assesment at WP:AVIATION, so I do hope to find a way to make the article more atractive to assessers at FAC. -Marcusmax (talk) 00:37, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- I am about to sound real stupid, but you have a point after reading through Black Moshannon State Park I understand the task of making this article an FA while in FAC is to large. I think the FAC should be closed, so I can invest some long term work into this article and so FAC's resources aren't being used up. I guess next time it would be smart if I looked up other FA articles of the same type to see what changes should be done ahead of time. I know your an admin so I ask you to please close this FAC for now. -Marcusmax (talk) 01:16, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- Ruhr, I followed this conversation here from Marcusmax's talk page - I'll take care of withdrawing the FAC nom, and reply at his talk page. Thanks for your help! Maralia (talk) 01:28, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks very much Maralia - since you like conversations in one chunk, I have replied here to you and on Marcusmax's talk page too, Ruhrfisch ><>°° 02:04, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Piedmont College Article Review
Thank you for reviewing the article. I will definitely work on everything that you suggested. You asked about the Mountain Lantern being either the magazine or the yearbook. It was the first student publication period for the college. It started out as a magazine and later became the yearbook. I was going to ask you how best would be to phrase that, but I think I just did. If you have any other comments about the article, they would be appreciated. Thanks again for your time.

FL nom of List of NHLs in NY
Hi, it took me a while to get back to this, but I nominated List of NHLs in NY for Featured List. Please feel free to watch, please feel free to add to discussion at Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/List of National Historic Landmarks in New York. Cheers, doncram (talk) 23:59, 25 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your comments on the above at FAC - and for fixing the convert template (I learn something new every day). I wonder if, when you have a moment, you could do a brief prose review of Southern Cross Expedition, which is at PR. A review was promised by another user, but it hasn't transpired. The article is in a bit of trouble over images, as you will see on the review page, but I would like to get the prose right before working out a new image strategy. I'd be most grateful. Brianboulton (talk) 22:12, 26 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for your input on this PR. I can fix most of it myself. As for the rp tag, I've seen articles with it go through FAC and no one said anything. People like it or don't it seems. It's sort of like people love or hate reflist vs reflist|2. I like reflist and rp. RP is a perfectly legit format so I'm not sure what to do here. As for hagiography and copyedit, it's very hard for me to work my stuff re those matters. Could you either be more specific or help by working on those issues? Thanks again. — Rlevse • Talk • 10:15, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi there,
I've listed Harry Potter for Peer Review, so I would appreciate any comments that you may have at Wikipedia:Peer review/Harry Potter/archive3 - as you have already given me some comments, so know a bit about the article.
Thanks in advance,
The Helpful One (Review) 23:38, 27 August 2008 (UTC)
- OK, that's not a problem. Thanks for you assistance. --The Helpful One (Review) 10:47, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Colton Point
I remember reading about the CCC expanding the park quickly too. I will work on it more tomorrw, hopefully. I am busy at work all weekend, so I should be able to get some stuff done. Thanks for reminding me about the park expansion. I started Daryll Clark this week. I'd like to get it on DYK, but don't see much notable it it. Hopefully he'll set some kind of record tomorrow. If see something in it let me know, please. Dincher (talk) 01:47, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Re: Peer review limits
Yeah, I just noticed that the rules say that. However, in my defense, User:Blackngold29 would have opened the peer reviews himself, otherwise :) (at User_talk:Gary_King#Re:_Slip_demo). Also, after I open peer reviews, I always ask for feedback from people I know, so those peer reviews are definitely going to be used ;) Gary King (talk) 02:54, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Another look?
Hi again, Ruhrfisch. I want to thank you for looking at the Lincolnshire, Illinois article I asked you to check before under peer review; you gave a lot of useful and well-directed information towards it, although I find it rather difficult to find information on the missing parts of Lincolnshire's history.
I have improved the article greatly since I requested a peer review on August 19, and I was wondering if you could take a second look at it if you had the time. I am wondering if it's ready for GA status, but this is my first attempt at raising an article up to FA, so I'm not quite sure what to expect.
Thanks and cheers, Starstriker7(Say hior see my works) 03:11, 31 August 2008 (UTC)

Oh, thanks for the DYK update notice. :-) -- RyRy Public (talk) 03:43, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
BNP article
As you seem to be a completely disinterested party would you mind reading through the whole article and seeing what is wrong with the article. The talk page for this topic doesn't work as it becomes a mob, edit war and flame wars ensue and nothing is achieved. A prime example is when discussing the word fascism it basically turns into anyone who wants it removed is a racist. This is a ridiculous state of affairs and the article is full of Bias POV and ideological rubbish. A prime example of this is The Guardian's infiltration section, Please can you take a thorough look at this or pass it in to someone who will, as this is out of control.--Lucy-marie (talk) 12:22, 31 August 2008 (UTC)
