It is located at 252 Routes 6 and 209 in Westfall Township, between Milford and Matamoras, Pennsylvania, USA. The school is split into two sub-schools, a 9/10 High School serving grades 9 and 10 and an 11/12 High School serving grades 11 and 12. Each section has its own set of administration, guidance counselors, etc. This school also has a the Delaware Valley Middle School attached, which consists of children in 7-8. They also have their own set of administration, and guidance counselors.

The original high school was built in 1956 when Milford High School and Matamoras High School merged. In June 2008, a letter was sent home to all parents informing them of a substantial spike in the number of STDs and pregnancies in the school district, including one confirmed case of [[HIV]]. According to the letter, about 10% of the school population has been treated for an STD and two dozens girls have been impregnated during the 2007-2008 school year. Delaware Valley High School has won two team [[PIAA]] state championships: [[field hockey]] in 1978 and [[baseball]] in 2006 and two individual state champions Jamie Grennan for swimming (50 yd Freestyle) and Joseph Kennedy wrestling (189 lbs).
