Born during the war of [[1980]]-[[1988]], his parents were Architecture students but very active as political opponents and under surveillance of the political police of Iran. Due to the nature of their illegal activism they were forced to leave everything behind and decided to hide in [[Yugoslavia]] before heading to [[Hamburg]], [[Germany]], where he was briefly schooled before the family relocated in [[Paris]], [[France]]. K-Michel grew up in several cities, such as [[Paris]], [[Saumur]], [[Nantes]], [[Angers]] and then again [[Paris]]. After getting his degrees he decided to leave for [[New York City]] where he currently resides. He is now represented by the [[Endeavor Talent Agency]] as a writer and film director.


In June 2009, it was announced that French filmmaker [[Mathieu Kassovitz]] and Parandi would co-direct a motion picture based on a science fiction mythology.
K-Michel received his first degree in mathematics and economics, his second in film directing and his third in philosophy from the [[Paris X University Nanterre]].


By 2012, Parandi wrote and directed the original pilot for ''From The Future With Love.'' In the series, the police is privatized and only provide protection if paid for it. The pilot was selected by the [[Art Directors Club of New York]] and was broadcast on March 14, 2016 at a [[TED (conference)|TED]] event in [[Brussels]]. TED "Deep future" initiated a public discussion on the future of law enforcement.
