Multiplex and minus-one music. What is multiplex music? What is minus-one music? Are they one and the same? Minus-one music is sound recording of music without the vocal sound. Multiplex is a recorded music with both vocal and instrumental sounds but where a user can have the option to activate or deactivate the vocal sounds. This is probably due to the way the recording is done to enable splitting the sound recording. How is multiplex recording related to recording of other media components such as graphics or video images? Can an audio-video recording be also done in a multiplex manner?
