Welcome!
Hello, Johnson 26, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

G'day mate, noticed your Aussie rules contributions and I would suggest joining WikiProject AFL. Also take a look at Category:VFL/AFL players and edit my talk page with any questions you may have. Also check out how I fixed up Danny Stanley. Cheers! Rogerthat Talk 06:25, 23 February 2006 (UTC)
Johno :)
[edit]G'day mate, good to see you on here, and hopefully contributions can be handy on WP:AFL as we continue to get movin on the Pies players. Good to see Stanley article...top stuff, looking good, and will be a great asset! Lonie From 50 11:07, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article 2007 AFL Pre-Season, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. 172.148.231.20 19:29, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
New Players
[edit]Thanks for updating the Collingwood wikipedia section with some new draftees, however just a little note. With these players yet to play a club game, I have decided to remove the Player category, but will keep in mind these articles have been started and will add the category when the debut at the club. What I have read so far is all as good as what you do outside this site. Keep up the good work Lonie From 50 04:54, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
Notability of Tyson Goldsack
[edit]A tag has been placed on Tyson Goldsack, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}}
on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Rjgodoy 06:50, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
Collingwood History
[edit]Just noticed your significant additions to the Pies page. Please try to stick to a neutral point of view and apply the Manual of Style, especially the tone of it all should be more formal. Try to avoid "I" or "we", stick to the main points and most importantly, try to include references. This isn't a forum, and despite your obvious football knowledge, unless you are a Sheahan, Walls or Caro Wilson, we aren't interested in your ideas or opinion. It's a tough concept to grasp at first, but you'll get used to it. Keep going, but please have a second crack at the Pies article - you may have to cull it back a lot, or maybe extract it into a separate 2006 Collingwood season like article. Cheers, The-Pope 17:04, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
Speedy deletion of Daniel Nicholls
[edit]A tag has been placed on Daniel Nicholls requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 21:25, 18 April 2009 (UTC)
Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Johnson 26! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 5 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 139 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Steven McKee - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Carl Steinfort - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Chad Rintoul - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Jarrod Molloy - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Glenn Freeborn - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
