I don't think that an entire article about industry requirements is really notable. Maybe this oculd be re-written as an article about prebaked consumable carbon anodes, explaining their significance, etc. |

:Done. I've preserved the majority of the original page in the initial re-work but altered the tone of the article so it can easily be modified into an in-depth discussion of the anodes themselves; next step will be to find more sources about "prebaked anodes" to further enrich the article. ==Editorial Comment== |

An editorial comment from the User:Joseph N was likely mistakenly inserted into the body of the main article, and read as such: "Seems contradictory to what is mentioned in electrical resistance. In fact, High electrical conductivity results in high thermal conductivity, which in turn will result in high air burn (in smelting jargon)or high carbon oxidization. By Joseph N."; as I am the one who re-wrote the passages in their current form, I can attest that I only re-stated what existed, as I don't have actual personal expertise on this subject. However, I take Joseph N.'s point that there may be a factual error in the article that requires correction; I leave it to a more expert editor to do so. Comment above by Heterodidact attributes an edit to me. It was not by me; I know nothing about the subject and never added a comment or edit to the page at issue. (I'm not going to select the "minor edit" option, in case a monitor wants to chase down the misattribution.) --Joseph N (talk) 17:17, 26 September 2016 (UTC) |

:My sincere apologies. I clearly made an unwarranted assumption that the "Joseph N" who signed the comment was a user and not one of the many Josephs N our globe might carry. Thank you for correcting my mistake, though I hope you will accept my assurance that my motives were pure.
