The population has been growing since the 1980s, in 2001, the Drosato Health Center shut its doors for good due to its declining population of the northern half of the prefecture since the 1950s, the health center had low budget not enough for the population that even some people opposed. The nearest hospital is now in Kilkis. |

Drosato (Greek: Δροσάτο, Bulgarian: Патарос) is a village and a community in the Kilkis regional unit, northern Greece. Drosato was the seat of the former municipality of Doirani. The community Drosato consists of the villages Drosato, Doirani and Koryfi.
