Citation of references in the page Aastha Chaudhary

[edit]

I have cited various sources, which are not self written by me or relating to me. One link is of Indya.com, which is an official website of STAR TV (Asia). If thats not sufficient for you, what can I do. What about doing a search on any search engine about this celebrity. If you are not convinced then also, if i provide the link of the official website of a TV network, then I can't help. I am removing the message from the top of the article with immediate effect. Thanks, UnbeatableIndia2020 (talk) 05:06, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Indya.com, besides not being notable enough to qualify for a Wikipedia article, is not considered a reliable source, just as IMDb is not considered a WP:RSWP:SPS refers to the kinds of sites where the subject is allowed to enter information about themselves, such as message boards or blogs. What's needed is "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject" (to quote WP:GNG) … that means articles in reputable newspapers or magazines, like Hindustan Times. In any event, the fate of this article now lies in the hands of community consensus, but unless you or Some Other Editor can find some "significant coverage" in the next week, it will be deleted. — 70.21.16.94 (talk) 06:03, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
