Yea, thank you for doing that. Once you write those overviews, you don't want to have to go back and fix all that crap. And also, I don't add a lot of games because it distracts from the writing, and most of the times the articles don't actually exist. So again, thanks. |

== Taking out Mission Overviews == |
|||
I realized someone took out the mission overviews that I was writing, which I wasn't exactly HAPPY about, since it took a long time to write, but for whoever did it, please discuss it here. I was planning on my next update to move it to it's own separate page, so please DISCUSS it here before deleting stuff. I was able to grab the overviews off of a previous version in the article history, but please notify us to talk about it first. |

I'll write a separate article containing the storyline, and link to it from the page, so expect that to be up sometime later. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.139.178.8 (talk • contribs) 00:33, March 11, 2006 (UTC{}) |

Grammar Nazism
[edit]Yes, I was the one who edited the spelling/grammar errors, and ai added some links as well. Unfortuantly, I can't add more about the missions because I haven't played the game in what, 2 years?
Kudos though, good stuff so far
Mission Overviews
[edit]Hey, if you don't know, I am the one writing all of the mission overviews. So far, I have created the entire mission overview for mission 1, 2 ,and the first part of 3. That's a lot of information typed up there, so I wanted to make everyone aware that I will occasionally be checking in and making more. Writing up plot summaries takes a bit of time, and even though the updates are few and far between, I will still be writing the overviews. So don't worry about "completing the section" because I will get around to doing it eventually.
I would also like to thank some people for correcting a few of my spelling mistakes and to be constantly watching out for my other mistakes. Sometimes I say "you" instead of Powell, and that obviously breaks the style in which I am writing in. Also, sometimes I forget to link to other subjects, so if you see something that you feel should be linked, please feel free to make a link. And if I have left out a detail you feel is important, please don't hesitate to add it.

I downloaded the Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault Breakthrough demo and the Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault Spearhead demo. I've alwasy lived knowing that they were demos for the Allied Assault game. Am I wrong?
picture to weapon relation
[edit]I though that it would be kool if we could put a 1 after every weapon which would link to the Image:____ file of that weapon, since some links (ex.: smoke grenade, doesnt show a clear image of what it looks in the game. So the reader would still have the link to the article of that weapon, but still have a second link to the picture of that weapon in the game. If you want, i can work on that paat 00:59, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

POV in Overview section
[edit]I just deleted the folllowing text from "Overview":
- MOH: Allied Assault is often considered to be the best of the MOH series. This twice uses "is often considered", a weaselly phrase that couches POV in a somewhat neutral tone. There's also some blatant POV in the use of words such as "ingenious" and "supurb". And how is it that using the Q3 engine is "ingenious", anyway? As I recall, many games from that period, roughly 1999-2002, use the Q3 engine for graphics rendering.
